Fender Japan Jazz Bass, non-export AFAIK, in Candy Apple Red with matching headstock. Year dates as 'I' plus six digits, so around '89/'90. Mint green 'guard and currently sporting a '60/'61 stackpot circuit, though the original VVT circuit and plate will be supplied at sale price, along with a Fender Tweed case. Absolutely no issues and has a nice, tight Jazz Bass sound; even acoustically it has some bite! Listed as in very good condition. No trades or swaps, please.

Buckeye Burl Emperor 5 Bolt-On This Emperor 5 Bolt-on was built with a Mahogany body and Ebony fingerboard, this instrument has a rich and articulate tone with powerful lows, growling mids, and clear, bell-like highs. This bass was also built with a 3-way coil tap switch that allows the Seymour Duncan dual coil pickups to it to be played in dual coil, outside single coil, and inside single coil modes. This bass also features an incredible Buckeye Burl top and Mother of Pearl tulip inlays at the 12th and 24th fret! Cheers! Tamas

Now sold!! Up for very reluctant sale is my gorgeous Sandberg California TT4 Passive, finished in a really deep Natural Highgloss (which highlights the lovely grain on the swamp ash body) with Rosewood fretboard and Whitepearl Blocks, and weighing in at a very lightweight 7lb 1.9oz!! This bass has barely left the house since purchase from Kytary in December 2018. I actually used it for the first time in the studio just a few weeks back (it sounded awesome and even drew compliments from our drummer!), so is in pretty much mint condition. The only marks I can find are on the top of the headstock (please see pic) and some light swirling on the scratchplate. I've had some work done on it by The Bass Gallery in Camden, basically I felt the neck was a little fat, so I had them shave a couple of mm off the shoulders and completely remove the satin varnish, so it now feels and plays just like my other Bergs. Other than that, it's completely stock. Sandberg have confirmed the date of manufacture as 30th April 2018 and also shared the spec code (see below). I'm assuming the pickups are Sandbergs own, but can't read the code well enough to know for sure, prehaps any Sandberg buffs will be able to advise? Either way, it sounded awesome in the mix, really balanced tone throughout the range and cut through no problem. For sale is this beautiful Human Base ROXY B5. The bass comes a with a good quality SKB case and is in absolute mint condition. The bass is about 1 year old and is perfect in every way, but since I bought another bass with a low B it is just not getting used. First lockdown project/build with my limited skill set, pictures of build progress available on request ’51 Slab body precision bass Body from guitarbuild.com Neck from eBay (headstock reshaped by myself) 38mm nut Unknown brand but solid machine heads Seymour Duncan SCPB-3 pickup Rosewood thumb rest solid bass built up and painted (not a perfect finish, bit patchy on the back, but perfectly acceptable) by myself, couple of dings here and there but nothing you’d notice from more than 4 feet away there are a couple of extra holes that happened when I was installing the thumb rest (experimenting with positioning) one that I had to fill with a dowel and some wood glue (snapped screw head and not the greatest execution of getting it out) the other is just where a screw has been in and out, both are covered by the pick guard, pick guard isn’t perfect around the control plate but I have ordered some new material in the hope I’ll make a better job of it next time, not really noticeable unless your really looking Will need ferrules if you want to string through body, I haven’t done this so didn’t get any at the time of the build Had to make and install a shim for under the bridge in order to get it setup to a decent standard, have since installed brass saddles but happy to discuss putting the ones in the pictures back on with any potential buyers there are a couple of dead spots (3 or 4 in fact) on the frets so a little bit of a level is required, I don’t have the skills to do it myself and haven’t gotten round to getting it done by someone else due to the situation All sounds terrible doesn’t it?! Essentially all it really needs is a little fret level on a few spots and it’s good to go! It is a solid bass that does sound just grand not really sure what this is worth to be honest so willing to listen to offers if the interest is there, price listed is what it cost me to put together, nothing more... happy to consider trades for something a bit Warwick-y, Spector-y, Ibanez-y or musicman-y with cash either way if it calls for it, may also consider CAR jazz neck profile precisions or something acoustic-y MAY consider parting out if there’s enough interest in all the bits and bobs any further pictures required, throw me a PM and I’ll get some sorted

Nice bass, in a way it's also a good sign that there are some traces of use..It shows that it has been played a lot so it doesn't bother me. Not only vintage Fenders should show these traces..
