Note: I've seen something that I fancy so temporary price drop to £750 until one of my basses sells. Here's a nice L2000 that I got in a recent trade. It sounds and feels great as you would expect. I was told it was made in 1992, although I can't see a way to be sure of this. I would have dated in then or earlier, maybe late 80's. Anyhow it is a lovely usable classic. This is a used bass so there ere are a couple of "dings" on the front but in general it is in great condition for its age. Trades? I would like a G&L L1000, SB2, LB1 or maybe a nice Fender Precision of Jazz Special/boxer. I have included some pictures from the previous owner as theirs were better than mine lol. Local pickup or trial welcome but can post at cost if need be. Weight is 4.3kg

I got this bass in 2018 after looking for one since the 1990s with no success. But, as I can play the DB that's inevitably what everyone asks for and this Fender never gets played any more. When fretless is called for my other one (which no-one will want to buy) usually fits the bill better. Therefore, it might as well be offered to someone who will make good use of it rather than sit in a corner in its (somewhat tatty, Thomann-branded) case. The only changes since I got it are a professional setup and the fitting of TI Jazz flatwounds. The strap can be included, if you want it. I don't plan to drop the price as I don't really need to sell this, and I'm not interested in trades at the moment - sorry about that. Apologies for the poor photos; having some trouble with the phone camera.

This is a beautiful 2015 Fender Jazz JB-62 in Fiesta Red. It has a particularly nice rosewood fingerboard with very little fret wear. Plays and sounds like a Jazz should and weighs in at 9.6lbs on the bathroom scales. It has the chrome covers and comes with the hard case in the pics. I have sturdy packaging so it could be sent for around £20, but I'd prefer pick up or meet if possible. The pics show the Schaller strap lock buttons, but I've put the originals back on. This really is a super clean example, and I wouldn't be selling but for my P bass which is getting all the attention. I think the strings are D'Addario 45-100 round wounds. These look great in Fiesta Red.....suitably vintage.

For sale is my USA Fender Precision Pro II in Miami blue. Only a couple of faint surface scratches to the body, otherwise immaculate. Comes with Fender hardcase, paperwork and tools. Weight is about 4.2kg I really need to keep my lightweight Roscoe due to my crap back so I withdrew it from sale but that dose mean I have to part with this which is a shame because this is a belter but hey-ho! I've owned a good few US Fenders over the years and this one dose stand out in build quality and finish. I found the neck profile much more pleasing than my other Pbasses, I believe it's based on early 60's dimensions, can't be certain but it really is nice. The reshaped neck joint with the 5 bolts works well should you venture up the dusty end of the fretboard. Its currently strung with newish DR Nickel Lo-Riders 45-105. I would obviously prefer collection or meet/deliver within reasonable distance but I do have a good box and packaging for shipping. I will only use UPS at £35. If you wish to arrange an alternative it's fine by me. No trades please, sale only. The price is firm, and a bit less than I paid for not too long ago.

FINAL PRICE DROP now £800: Fender MIA / USA Precision Bass, from Corona, California, 2008, with Gator hard case. Long scale 34 inch. Black with gloss poly 'modern C' maple neck & fretboard. Usual USA made refinements: rolled fretboard edges, string thru' bridge, graphite reinforcing rod thru neck. Fretboard was cleaned with Dunlop 65 spray cleaner on recent string change. Strings are Rotosound RS66LDN nickel plated roundwound in 45-105 and the bass has barely been played since they went on. The pickups are upgraded to Fender Custom Shop 62s (these only became standard from 2012 onwards), and it has upgraded electrics in the form of a KiOgon loom (wired to Fender US Standard specs - CTS 250 pots, .47 Capacitor & Switchcraft Jack). Solderless screw terminals so a doddle if you ever want to change pickups (you may not need to though as the CS62s are great). HiMass vintage bridge. Fender lightweight vintage paddle tuners. It comes with a Gator Deluxe ABS hard case case to which there are no keys. No paperwork, just a Fender truss rod tool. The bass is fitted with a 3 ply black/white/black plate with truss rod cutout. The bass weighs 4.2Kg (9.2lbs) on my digital luggage scale. The width at the nut is 41mm. The bass is in good used, gigged condition for a 13 & a half year old instrument. There is a fair bit of minor scratching / swirl marks on the body & scratchplate as you would expect with a black bass. Only visible up close and quite hard to photograph though I have tried. Please contact me if you want any more photos. There are a few minor bumps, but no paint removed. As shown in the photos, there is a small ding on the back of the neck behind the 8th fret, no more than 1mm deep and I can't say it has bothered me when playing. There is a small lacquer chip on the fingerboard edge between the 12th & 13th frets. A little fret wear but the neck is in great shape otherwise. There are half a dozen small 'nibbles' on the end of the headstock. A black bass has to have some battle scars, right?! A great bass, but selling as despite always being a one bass man, I ended up buying 3 recently, and have decided to let this one go to a good home. Up for sale is my stunning Am pro Precision V in Black with maple neck. Freshly strung with a set of DR lo Rider nickel 45-125 and upgraded with a Nordstrand NP5F pickup. B string is nice and tight and sounds like a natural extension to the other strings Weight is 4kg and it balances really nicely on the strap. It does have a few marks on it but they are very minor and only on the body, the neck and headstock look to be unmarked. Comes complete with original hardcase and tool kit which are also in really nice condition (and key) Collection welcomed from Leicester, also happy to meet up within a reasonable distance or I can courier within the Uk Apologies for the photo quality… it would appear that my skills with a camera are even worse than my skills with a bass😂😂 Might be tempted by a trade on a 4 or 5 string but must be sensible weight. I have one of these and it is by far the best bass I have ever had. It sounds amazing and the quality is spot on. The colour is gorgeous but never photographs well, it is brighter and more metallic in real life. They are subtly different to the American pro in several ways and they all add up to make it feel like a different beast altogether. This an utter bargain at that price.
