Made in 2008 for release at winter NAMM 2009. These early models did not have the circular CNC route under the scratchplate, so can be used with the plate off, which I do. Original scratchplate & screws are included. THEY DID, however, have ROAD W stamped into the body as these first ones were select Alder & the first non Fender Custom Shop Road Worn finish basses. Weight 8lb 14oz. Comes with original tatty but functional gigbag. They have a very good rep, please do your research. As they are now discontinued (last rrp was £1279) they will most likely come up less often. Sale as I need the money. Collection from Darlington preferred, or buyer to organise/pay for own courier. Having another shuffle about, and as my C4 is covering a whole range of synth sounds, it's time to give someone a crack at this classic fuzz pedal. There's a pedal I'm after,If it goes I will withdraw this. It's a silicon fuzz with a 3 way subs switch (none/a bit/loads of bass) and a gate. It's basically the mighty wooly mammoth but has an input impedance so it doesn't go crazy with active basses/buffers. If your into octave/fuzz/filter combos,then this is the one to have, using the Gate can get you from classic fuzz tones,all the way to spitty Velcro sounds,which is where this pedal shines. It is in mint condition and comes with the original box (Yes you heard right a box!!!) It has high quality Velcro on the bottom and is pedalboard ready. SOLD

No intention of selling this - so please bear that in mind. Talking to @Maude about Yamaha BEX4C’s I’m only interested in the blue or tobacco burst ones. This bb450 is mid 80’s - basically an 1100’s without a preamp - depending on your experience of the bb1100s, might be the best of all worlds. came with a 38mm nut, which was incorrect and has been replaced with a bone 43mm (correct width). Came with wrong bridge, wrong knobs…all replaced with legit mid-80’s yamaha gubbins from my personal random stash of yamaha guts. (Parts from an 87 bb) It’s 34/35 years old so has some swirling and pick marks - but nothing structural or massive. Looks “pristine” from 6ft. It’s light. Like 8.5/9lbs Will come with a Ritter Classic gig bag. Genuinely only interested in a BEX4C. So in no mad rush. Thank you for looking, reading, enjoying and laughing at me. Love you too.

Here we have what is alleged one of two only slab body Pre EB Sabre, re-built to Pre EB specs. Body, bridge, loaded control plate, string tree, tuners, battery cover, neck plate, strap buttons are all original. Refinished in the U.S.A. by Pat Wilkins, neck is a beautiful birds eye late 80s EBMM as are the sting mutes, pick guard is an aftermarket, pickups and pickup covers all hand built by the wonderful Veijo Rautia, assembled in Dublin by luthier Tony Thompson. Body has one small blemish on the horn (was that way when I bought it). Hi there. This 'drop dead gorgeous' (Bassist magazine Nov 1998) instrument has been sat in my sister's flat in Devon for far too long now and isn't getting played by me, her, or anyone for that matter. I have a 3/4 upright which gets all the attention and a Stagg EUB for those ultra portable occasions when we play electric and a song just calls out for an acoustic vibe. So back to the bass. If you could get one they would set you back best part of £3k. There isn't a mark on the bass, as its had home use only. To be honest it would benefit from a setup/ new strings but thats all it needs. To hopefully make this an easy transaction I'm asking a very reasonable but firm £1000 Trades . . . . hit me . . . .but only electric basses in the P bass genre. Collection from Stoke, meet 1/2 way, or even possible delivery if no more than 2 hours . You can of course get to play it in Stoke but please bear in mind it has a piezo pickup and my upright has a magnetic pickup so my amp accordingly doesn't make the most of the Cetus. Photos are from previous owner as I'm not where the bass is at the moment, but nothing has changed, and I can get my sister to take a couple if needed. Think thats all.
