For sale or trade. A great P Bass, made by The Bass Centre, created in collaboration with Attractions bassist Bruce Thomas. You can read the story of its creation here . It seems to be very well regarded by many people on this forum. I bought this from this site in May 2021 as I was getting back into playing. Including myself it’s had at least three careful owners. It’s a great playing and sounding P Bass, but I’ve hardly played it with since I got a Mustang for Christmas 2021. So I am looking to switch this out for something different. It still has the the flats it arrived with. There are screw holes for an “ash tray” bridge cover, which I took off but still have and will include with the sale. Happy with sale or trade. For trade, I’d consider anything short or medium scale, with cash going in either direction. Top of my wish list would be SS Sterling Sting Ray, G&L Tribute Fallout or Pawn Shop Mustang. Collection or meet-up only (unless it doesn’t sell for a few months). Happy to meet up in South Wales, along the M4. I also have occasional work trips to Bristol, central London and Milton Keynes. I’ve weighed it on bathroom scales and I make it 4.5 kg Price reduced to £295 for collection/meetup. (Although I am now thinking I might keep it after a few goodbye noodles).

SOLD Selling my Ampeg combo. I believe this is a late 80's / early 90's model, but happy to be corrected. It's a USA made 100 watt / 1x15 design, obviously based on the legendary valve model from a couple of decades earlier. 4 band EQ with push/pull, FX loop, balanced XLR DI with vol control, headphone socket, limit function etc etc. Speaker is 150 watt 4 ohm, so 100 good watts output as it is. Can be used as just a head into another cab too. It's in good condition for it's age, sounds fine with all controls working. Has the screw in pole which enables it to be tilted back too! Good for smaller gigs , rehearsal room or home use. Overall a usable funky thing that may even be collectable now or in the near future, as quite rare. One in, one out. You know the score. Had this for a year, it's a fantastic bass but my '93 Sterling does all of this and more so it's up for grabs. It was made on the 5th of August 2010. All original, all working fine. A few battle scars to the body near the jack/control plate and a bit of buckle rash in the usual place. There is a little damage to the finish on the end of the headstock too, just cosmetic. It came with a couple of spare scratch plates in torty and grey pearloid. Musicman hard case too.

The cavities have been fully shielded with conductive paint (and some copper too), the scratchplate (or pickguard for some) has been fully shielded with aluminium and the bass has been set up professionally, which means it's super easy to play and dead silent. It is fitted with a set of broken in La Bella 760FS Deep Talking Stainless Steel Flat Wound (45 - 65 - 85 - 105), which really serve this bass. It comes with the thumb rest and the two ashtrays. I suspect that these need no introduction for most of you, but in case you have any doubts: yes, these really are as astonishing as the hype says they are. How on earth can something so small and light sound so warm, loud and fat? And when you put two of them together ... 500 watts at 4 ohms! Lordy! I bought them during lockdown and have used them pretty much every day as my home practice/rehearsal setup. I really do love them, but I'm now GASsing for Eventide H90, and my Charvel JJV isn't shifting, so these are next up. (And to be honest, I also prefer the more hifi sound of my pair of Big Baby IIs to the warmer vintage tones that these offer, so that makes parting a little easier. But only a little!) After buying a lot of pedals and preamps recently I'm fairly happy with my pedalboard, and I've even kept enough back for a small backup board. It's time to let some stuff go, although there are a few things here that I'm really quite fond of, I just don't think I'll use them enough again.... Has the original box, but stupidly I peeled off the rubber on the base to fit velcro. *Sold* MXR M287 Sub Octave Bass Fuzz £100 + £8 UK postage Well used, perfect working order, but a few dings and scratches. There's a bit of bubbling on the paint, it doesn't feel like it'll peel off any time soon, but I've circled it in some photos. I'm totally open to offers and trades. Mostly after a Noble preamp and a 3 Leaf Octabvre, and a USA G&L2500 but could be tempted by other things too.
