Fender Mustang Bass MIJ reissue In excellent condition, comes with a Fender gig bag. I've recently noticed the tone pot is a little looser than the volume pot but neither affect the overall sound and neither pot is noisy. Bass was set up at McIntyre Guitars in Edinburgh last year. Currently strung with D'Addario Chrome Flats. Collection is preferred but I can potentially meet somewhere if need be, or buyer can organise courier (as I do have a box that will work). Excellent bass, with a great warm woody tone. Very LOW action & very light weight. I upgraded the bass with a Fender Pure Vintage Bass Bridge, which gives a better tone / sustain. Strings can be perfectly fit to the center of the poles pieces of the pickup. Bass is strung with my strings signature (45/105) in roundwound, from Skull Strings. Bass sounds great for Pick, Slap or Fingerstyle. (Also tried it with flats & it sounds great) The bass will come with a light weight GIG Bag. Hi all, I'm selling my Alembic MK Signature Deluxe with Coco Bolo top, so here is little about the bass. Bass has no scratch, no belt buckle scratch, it's almost as brand new, as you can see from pics. Scale: 34" String spacing: 19 mm Fingerboard: Ebony with abalone Top: coco Bolo Back: Coco Bolo Body: Mahogany with maple and purplehearth as accent woods Neck: Maple with Purple Hearth stringers Finish: clean gloss with satin finish on the neck weight: 5.7 kg (with 5 9v batteries that goes into the bass, 4x for LED) Electronics: volume, pan, 2x filters, 2x q switches, 1x LED on/off, 1/4" mono output. LEDs are amber and red (check pictures) Bass was done in 2015, so it has 2+3 machine heads. Bass has original case, papers, everything. I have decided, after much thought, to finally let my Fender Flea bass go. I bought it four years ago, gigged it a lot for the next couple of years, you can see the wear from where my wrist rested on the upper bit. Also the paint is wearing through to the primer along the top edge but it's very hard to see. I have also changed one grub screw in the bottom E saddle as it had rusted up . I have the original grub screw too. There is the original gig bag and case candy Those that have these, know what a great sound comes from them. The 1964 pickups really sound ace. That jazz bass 'fizz' from the neck pickup, the honk from the bridge. It sits in my office, waiting for me to have a noodle on it at lunchtimes, it's been great to play at work. Nice and light too at 3.9kg or 8 pounds and 8 ounces, measured on my digital works scales. But in all realities I'm just not going to use it anymore unless I turn it into a Sting Jazz (which I'm not) I am just a P bass fan. Light relic bass. Bass has never been gigged and only used at home. Recently bought in lockdown from a fellow Basschatter but, having small-ish hands, can't get to grips with the deeper U Shape neck. Comes with certificate, case candy and hard case. Although on the Certificate of Authenticity it is described as a 72 Jazz Bass most of the detailed specification is of a 75 Jazz. It has an Ash body, 7.25" radius neck, 1.5" nut width and nitro lacquer neck finish. I'm happy to deliver within a 30 miles radius of Cambridge or meet up half way if that suits.

Selling my 2006 Dennis Galuska Masterbuilt P-bass, based on a '68 'Telecaster' bass. I'm told that this was originally made for the bassist for Athlete, back in the day. I bought this on a bit of a whim but have realised its far, far too nice for me - I can't do it justice and feel like a bit of a fool playing on something so nice!! First thing to note is the weight - mostly due to the super premium ash, the whole bass weighs 7lbs 8oz, which is insane when you consider that it's a slab body! It strikes meevery time I pick it up; it's lovely and balanced and you can wear it for hours without getting tired (unlike most slab-bodied precisions). It's also incredibly resonant. This is the magic of Masterbuilt guitars - the base materials were hand-picked and matched by one of Fender's best and it shows. Neck is a great shape too. A very soft "V" at the lower frets, going into a "C" by 12 and onwards. It feels very natural, and has clearly been expertly hand-carved for comfort. Frets are in great condition and a very low action is achievable (although I wouldn't recommend it!). Custom "block" inlays were also specified as part of the original order, with Ron Thorn (the current head of Fender's custom shop) specifically requested to do them. The work is top-notch - no filler whatsoever and perfect in every way. Nice and subtle too - I'm not usually a fan of block inlays but these look awesome. Finish is a lovely white relic - the spec has this as "super heavy" and "extreme" and it shows on the body! Lots of checking, dings and wear - it feels and looks very played in. On the sound - it's bloody amazing. It's honestly the best sounding p-bass I've ever heard. Think of ANY recording with a full-on p-bass tone and this does it to a tee. Can go full-on snarly precsion growl, or laid-back Pino groove. And super resonance, sustain and clarity all over the neck. The tone on this has a centre detent and acts a bit like a tbx tone control giving enormous versatility. All original save for (i) the machineheads, which have been replaced with Fender-sourced new ones (the g-string head was at some point replaced with a smaller version, so there are four tiny holes under the metal); and (ii) the case, which is a replacement Fender case. All in all the best P-bass you'll ever play, hands-down. This is light-years ahead of regular Custom Shop pieces and it shows, from the feel to the sound. I need a quick sale on this because of another incoming, so I am pricing at £3200. Equivalent basses are up on Reverb etc. for £4-6k. Needs to be sold quickly, however, or I will take it down. I'm in NW London or can ship, fully insured, for £50. I will also take px if need be - just let me know what you've got!

Hi everyone, This is a pretty reluctant feeler. If someone wants to bite my hand off for it, ill let it go but otherwise ill keep it. This started life as a Fender Pawnshop Mustang Bass, with the big old mudbucker rather than a standard Mustang Pickup. I found it muddy and indistinct, so replaced the pickup and pickguard. The pickguard started life a mirrored gold pickguard from WD Music and I scuffed it up to make it less reflective. The current pickup is a Aero Mustang, but formerly it was a Nordstrand NM4 (which i still have and can include in the sale for £50), the Aero is a little smoother sounding than the Nordy, but they're similar. This feels exactly like my MIJ Mustang did, I had them both at the same time and preferred this one so sold the MIJ. Its a fantastic sounding and playing bass but two Bass VIs and a Gibson as well as a 32" Squire jag, I've got about all the short scales i need at the moment. SOLD
