It was specced with the Moollon J classic neck option, 38mm nut. Gorgeous rolled fingerboard edges and a delight to play! Cosmetic marks as per photos, the main one being the scrape down to the wood near the volume pots. That's the only one visible from the front, and luckily the wood colour is similar to the tort burst on the pickguard. Now On Hold Great condition Maruszczyk Elwood 5a Ash body in Red Satin finish with matching headstock 34" scale 19mm string spacing 4.45kg weight Angled headstock 21 Frets plus zero fret Rosewood fingerboard with blocks & binding, Häussel JJ pickups Delano 2-band active preamp Volume and blend Passive mode on push-pull pot Wearing nearly new D'Addario XT strings Schaller strap lock buttons fitted, originals included Really nice looking, sounding and playing bass, and a reluctant sale, but I've had some wrist problems that make 5 strings a bit harder to play. I've already got it's replacement - an Elwood (Hellwood in fact) 4 string with the same pickups, I really like the sound of them. Condition is really good, I've checked it over for anything at all and all I could find was a small mark on the back where the finish has gone shiny and tiny ding in the headstock so small it was hard to photograph. There are some scratches on the scratchplate (makes sense ) and a few on the control plate but you have to get it in the right light to see them. I've done some photos of those, and other than that it's perfect. I can throw in a Maruszczyk gig bag, I do have a hard case but I'd need to replace it so that would be £30 extra. It's a good case, hardly used and deep enough for the angled headstock. I'd prefer collection or a meet up half way thing, but I can arrange a courier and pack it up properly (it would be packed better than the couriers advise) and send it insured for whatever that costs if really needed, that will probably be about £30 on top. Now £750, I might be up for trades but there aren't lots of things I'm after. One is a Sandberg Forty Eight in black with creme strips and matching headstock. If also consider a Fender P or Jazz, that is right in the middle of their respective sounds, as I've never owned either only other people's version of. Or also known as Anthony Jackson Contrabass Guitar. 19mm stringspacing, long scale, and incredible handling. A sweet 90ties era Fodera bass. But new stuff coming in. Designed by the master. Small signs of wear. Around the jack output some small finish crack. But nothing serious. So I let it go at a cool price inc standard sending cost within Europe. Including orig. For sale is this rather fetching Fender Elite Precision PJ which I bought new last May, and has been used for a couple of gigs and a session, so is in very good condition. Alder body, maple neck and ebony fingerboard. Metallic jade finish looks green-tinted gold, with parchment tort scratchplate and chrome hardware. The Elites have a number of nice features over previous series, including: Compound neck profile - C at the nut through to D up the neck Improved neck joint and cutaway 21 frets HiMass bridge, bone nut Spoke wheel truss rod adjustment Fender Elite Precision neck pickup, Fender Noiseless bridge pickup 18 V preamp with bass, mid and treble controls Active/passive switch, treble becomes a tone control in passive Option of through-body stringing This is the first Fender PJ I've played where the neck pickup sounds like a real precision. The bridge pickup can add bite or with the mid control up and treble down gets into Jaco territory. Both pickups with treble is a great modern pick or slap tone. A real all-rounder. Very light and easy to play too. It does have two scratches on the bottom of the body - where I was a bit careless putting it in a soft case with zips. Hard to see in normal light - see photos. Currently wearing a set of nearly-new DR Hi-beams. Comes with an unused SKB TSA-approved flight case, tools, strap locks etc. I'm only selling because sadly, with no gigs in the diary, something has to go. No trades, sorry. I bought this recently having always wanted to try one when I was at school. Unfortunately it’s rather heavy for me at 5kgs so having given it some TLC it’s up for grabs. It’s a Japanese made Washburn Scavenger bass with its original case. I doubt you’ll find one in such good condition - apart from the odd finish scratch and tarnish to the brass saddles it is excellent. The pickup looks like a Dimarzio and sounds pretty beefy it’s an incredibly well made bass typical of a Japanese made instrument from this era. It’s all original and the neck is straight and true with lots of life in the frets. It’s been cleaned and set up with a decent set of strings. No trades thanks. I’m happy to post in the UK at buyers cost.

Weight 4,5 kg - standard 5 string territory Just an absolute tone monster Condition is very good for a 19 year old bass, standard little cracks in neck pocket (all my Bogarts have it) due to the pocket design (square corners) of the older models. I have an email from Stefan Hess the builder confirming these cracks have been fixed (when he did the refin). Noticed some minor paint scuffing on the back. Just minor stuff otherwise. Price includes shipping with detached neck in Europe. BARGAIN!

Hi Folks.. After much thought and procrastination! Up for sale here is a Beautiful Sei Flamboyant 4 string bass in immaculate condition..Reason for sale is I just admire it, but never play it for fear of damaging it! (Madness I know) This bass plays and sounds as good as it looks! More importantly was built to be PLAYED!! I am the third owner..The bass was commissioned and built by Martin Petterson of Sei in 2004 by Pete (Scooby) He sold it and then bought if back, and I bought it of him in 2014.The bass is immaculate with next to no wear at all. 34 scale, 1.5 inch nut, Ash body, 24 fret maple/bubinga seven piece neck. Ebony fretboard, Madrone burl (Strawberry wood) top and peghead veneers (Stunning) Kent Armstrong pick-ups, Aiguilar OPB3 preamp 18V push/pull midrange sweep. ABM bridge, Gotoh tuners.Very light 3.5 kg.lovely slim profile neck as are most Sei's I've played. Only trade I would be interested in is a Vigier Arpege series 1,11,or 111 four string bass.
