Well, a broken van causes sale. Literally only a few months old (if that). I bought this due to all the glowing reviews and endorsements. It's a superb instrument. Sounds glorious. Nice and punchy, and like Jeff says every note really does ring out, no dead spots or unbalanced strings. It looks stunning in real life, nothing like the photos you see on the internet, the quality is to be seen in the flesh. Its lightweight, sounds lovely and has great tuners as well as the x2 custom bartolinis. I found the bridge pick up solod is lovely and rich and using the neck pickup adds a more fat precision like sound. The pick ups and bendable and theres a tone and volume too. Very cool, great playing and great sounding Musicmaster Bass - I just have too many basses now and need to raise some funds! Lovely neck on this, shaped by the legendary Herb Gastelum according to the stamp on the neck. All original to the best of my knowledge. 3.5kg according to my bathroom scales. A few dings here and there, as per the pics, and the scratchplate has minor cracks in a couple of places but generally in good condition for its age. No case I'm afraid but will be well packed for shipping. UK mainland shipping only, included in the price, with a decent courier! Or can be collected from high Wycombe or central London. That looks absolutely beautiful and in superb condition. Although she doesn’t know as yet, I’ve just completed an Autotrader advert for the wife’s car.....well she does keep moaning that we have two cars and only need one! Wish me luck with the sale!!!

Unexpected house expenditures necessitate one more in my sequence of bass sales in 2022 - in this case my 2019 fireglo 4003 beauty, which weighs a more than acceptable 9.0 pounds (4.08kg). Plays very slickly with 40-100 DR Pure Blues strings recently installed. Comes with Rick hard case in good used condition. A few minor knocks visible in pics (tip of headstock; rear underside edge; and small [2cm ish] patch of buckle rash, not through the wood) but none visible except very close up. Collection from SW13 London (south of Hammersmith Bridge) or delivery at cost (around £30 and probably UPS?) Sale only. No trades. Selling this for what I paid for it on here, which frankly I think was a bargain, for sale elsewhere for a lot more. I need the space! I was going to defret this (again, this is the second time I've owned it and I defretted it then, subsequently it was refretted :-)) but I never got round to it as it does sound so good in its current form but I just have too many instruments now and I'm mainly playing short scale now. Single piezo pickup which sounds incredible, very flexible and not at all over trebly like many piezos, this thing can pretty much do it all! Beautiful flame maple top and ebony fretboard, very high quality all round. And incredibly light! Only 3.3kg. Excellent condition, some minor dings on the back. Comes with original hard case. Currently strung E-C (all of my fives are) but I will happily restring it B-G for the new owner if they wish.

**NOW SOLD** I have finally found a 5 string Fortress One so up for sale is my last 4 string Fortress One. This one is from 1996 - hand built in Germany! This is a truly exceptional instrument - not only is the tone incredible and versatile but the bass itself is very ergonomic and exceptionally well balanced - IMO it is the best balancing Warwick by far - thanks to the extra long upper horn. It is reasonably light too at only 4,30kg/9,47lb. Controls are vol(with push/pull active/passive), blend, bass, treble. The bass is in very good condition, especially for a 26 year old instrument! There are some marks though as you would expect from a used instrument - please check the photos for the few dings and scratches - the things that look like scratches near the bolts connecting the neck to the body are actually just part of the finish as they within the finish - ie you cant feel them under your finger. There is also a hole in the cavity cover as shown. All of the electronics work perfectly, as does the truss rod and the hardware. The fretboard has been cleaned and oiled, the frets have been cleaned and polished - the fretboard is the best ive seen on any of the 30+ Warwicks ive owned - very unusual to see such prominent grain on a wenge board.. The bass has just been strung with new Warwick strings. The Sterling SB14 has a basswood body that delivers warm tone with great sustain. Like the Music Man model, the smaller body is comfortable and easy to hold during long gigs. It features a Music Man-designed active preamp. The Music Man-designed bridge has thick saddles for stability and precise slotting. Carbon fibre wrap on the scratchplate (easily removable, plain white underneath). Matching headstock. Upgraded pickup to a Nordstrand (now discontinued) with 'ghost coil' to kill hum in single coil mode. The SB14 is an accurate version of the popular Music Man Sterling model. Hence why its called a SB14, Otherwise it would be the Sterling by Sterling by Musicman. For sale is my stunning US 75th Anniversary P Bass with a one piece ash body and finished in a stunning Bourbon Burst. It has factory fitted gold hardware and comes with the limited edition silver case, all the certificates and accessories and the original mint and after market black pickguard. It's in immaculate condition. It weighs in at 4.2kg (9lbs 2-3oz). The neck is finished is a lovely natural satin lacquer in the back and gloss on the front (although not thick or sticky at all). It's a simply stunning bass but is getting little use. I'm looking for £1,550 delivered via courier fully insured of £1,500 picked up from near Monmouth and I'm happy to travel within an hour's drive to hand it over. Not looking for trades thanks.

2015 Cort GB75 JH Bought this off eBay recently but typically something I was after for a while became available immediately after I'd bought it! Original advert here. Simply don't have the room to keep. Very good used condition with a few minor marks but nothing obviously noticeable - worst is the mark on the lower horn pictured (some of the wood figuring looks like scratches in the photos but isn't). There's a faded section on back of neck so guessing it's been on a stand for a while. Comes with a Gear4Music hard case which doesn't look like it's been used much.
