So, I'm going to offer it for £1000, no trades no PX, ideally collected or handed over in person assuming you're not in Aberdeen (although I'm still happy to post), and on the understanding that if money I'm owed and have been waiting on for a few months comes in I will put the price back up again ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'm looking to sell, PX or trade my last remaining electric bass, a beautiful Enfield Fusion Jazz built by Sims Custom Shop in the UK. Pics below are from original Bass Direct listing i bough this from Bass Direct for £1399 in Oct 2022. Build in terms of design, materials, engineering, and finish are of the absolute highest quality, comfortably at FCS Masterbuild level (anyone who has had a bass refinished by Sims Custom Shop will know just how amazing Martin's finishes are). It has the Sims Super Quad PUPs and Sims neck LEDs. I'll let Martin and colleagues describe/explain the PUPs and circuitry in the videos below, but suffice to say that if you like me, have ever owned a fretless Precision and just occasionally wished that you could tease a slightly more Jaco, Pino, Danko, or Kumalo tone from it, you're gonna like the Fusion! Trade/PX-wise I'll look at pretty much anything EXCEPT an electric bass! SOLD ELSEWHERE For sale is my Ibanez AGB200 Artcore Bass, a semi-hollow, single-cut design with a maple top with ivory multi-binding on maple back and sides mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and pearl dot position markers. The serial number dates this to 2007 (an S plus 8 digits) so as this bass was only introduced by Ibanez in 2007, this must be one of the very early ones. It was produced in China. The bass is in good condition, there is some very light marking on the top of the headstock and a small paint chip in the neck that has been touched up. Please see the pics for more detail. I have a decent gig bag for the bass, but no hard case so would prefer not to ship if at all possible. Happy to have the bass collected or meet up somewhere to hand over. ***PLEASE WITHDRAW*** Up for sale is my Warwick Starbass 5 String in Daphne Blue. It’s in excellent condition basically brand new. Has had a recent professional set-up with new strings and comes with a padded TGI gig bag. This bass was also plek’d by Thomann when it was purchased, so the fret and fingerboard feels exceptionally smooth. One very small ding on the tip of the headstock, can be seen in photos. Great example of a classic bass in trans red from the early days of G&L when Leo Fender was firmly at the helm. Probably some of his finest work right here. The bass is in great played condition. Plenty of small dings and some checking to the finish but nothing untoward. I’ve had it professionally set up prior to the sale so nice action, oiled fret board and a new set of XL chromes fitted. I’m including a nice G&G hardcase in the sale, not original but a great case nonetheless. I sold a black ‘81 earlier this year for the same money as I’m asking for this which wasn’t as good and with a generic case so I think this represents decent value. All photos are in natural light. Fender American Performer Mustang Bass in Satin Surf Green. I love this bass and it has a lovely playable satin neck that I'll really miss, but I bought with my heart rather than with my head and it doesn't really suit the classic rock cover band that I play in and it's not getting used as it should be. It has a small ding on the top edge as you look down at the bass. It really does look worse on the photo than in real life(damn those highly accurate mobile phone cameras on portrait mode)! The colours in the photos vary from what looks like daphne blue to surf green but it is definitely surf green as shown in the last photo. I bought this new from PMT Newcastle in June 2023. Includes padded Fender gig bag and the certificate of authentication. I may be interested in trades for an American Performer Precision bass or a 5 string bass.
