Fender Mustang Bass 1975 Cool old Fender Mustang Bass in Mocha finish. Pots and serial say it's a '75. There are no further dating stamps applied on body or neck, but the year should be about right. This mocha finish really looks great as it is transparant, so you see the nice wood grains. The bass is not fully original. There is a Lollar replacement pickup fitted in an aged pearl pickguard. I got this bass with the period correct pickguard (replacement?), but as you can see it looks great with an aged pearl pg now. A thumbrest with screws is also included. As you can see from the pictures the bass has been used well. It has a lot of battle scars, and a finish crack on the frontside. No structural damage though. The neck is straight and adjustable, with pretty good frets. All hardware and electronics work like they should. The Mustang is a cool little bass that plays and sounds great. I love the sound with the fender flats that are fitted now, which are a good midway for a modern/vintage sound. How much as I love the sound, it appears that my fretting hand doesn't enjoy it that much for some reason. A battered old non-original case is included for protection during transport. Price: €1.265 fixed. This is what I spent on this bass, and I´d like to get that back. The bass can be tried and picked up in the Netherlands, but I am willing to ship within the EU/UK at buyers risk and expense.

Hi folks G&L SB-1 from 1991. Has some nice wear to it - but all cleaned up and with incredible low action. Neck is dead straight and truss rod works well. Currently wearing Labella flats (760FX) but will also come with a set of D'addario Cobalt Flats which have been on for 10 minutes. Beautiful sounding P bass - the MFD pickup jus sings and the tone control can take you from vintage thump to snappy sizzle. When I bought it the shielding was poor so it's been fully reshielded and a new jack installed so it's now quiet as a mouse. Collection only from York or nearby (can deliver to a reasonable distance of halfway point). No case but can include a brand new Fusion Urban Gig Bag (black) for an extra £120. Anaconda Crusher CES4 Bass Guitar This is a pristine 2018 example of the genre, and was a (rather pricey) impulse buy if I'm strictly honest. The bass is in immaculate condition, mostly because I, unforgivably, don't play it often enough and when I do it's at home. Weight is just under 4kgs (8lbs 12oz in old money). I don't think this variant is available any more but similar Anacondas basses will set you back the best part of £3k. I should say the bass is immensely tactile and the neck is insanely nice to play. PRICE REDUCED to £550 Here’s a cracking bass which has been shamefully underused in the past 5 years, hence the sale. It’s a Bassline Buster Classic, made in Germany in 1996. Bassline are a small, custom bass company based in Germany. The new price of this would’ve been circa £1600. A few years ago I contacted Bassline directly who were ace to give me the following wood specs: Body european ash, hardmaple neck, and a padouk fingerboard It has LeFay pickups and a Noll 2-band EQ with controls for Volume (push/pull for passive mode), Bass, Treble and Pickup Pan. Nut Width is 38mm and there’s a ‘Zero’ fret. It also has Neutrik locking jack socket and Schaller strap locks (with 2 positions at the bridge end to quickly jump between heights which conveniently also makes it stable resting on the floor). It’s in ace condition, although I’d note there’s a tiny indent on the scoop up to the fingerboard past the 24th fret and few marks on the lower horn and body edge where I knocked the bass over after posting this ad (see photos in comments). All minor and character adding in my opinion - like us all it’s lived! Playability wise, it has he slimmest, fastest neck I’ve ever encountered. It’s also super lightweight (3.7kg) so along with the fast neck you can keep going for hours. I don’t have a gig bag but the bass will be shipped very securely in a Fender cardboard bass box, within hand-carved polystyrene protection.
