thodrik
For me its going to have to be a MIA Fender Jazz bass. I've been playing bass for 12 years now and have never owned any type of jazz bass. I've wanted one for ages but lack of funds have prevented me. I blame tuition fees! Doctor J
The bass of the moment is a Wal MkII. Never really thought too much about them during the lull over the last few years, but, now that they're available again, I've got to say I'm rather tempted to go for it. jim_bass
I'd got it figured. I knew I wanted a jazz. I knew I couldn't afford an America standard. I was going to buy a Squire Classic Vibe jazz..... ....BUT.... I went into a music store in lincoln yesterday and played a Fender America Standard Precision. It was lovely. Now I'm all confused. I want a Precision and a Jazz! and I tried the Squire CV Precision and it just didn't match up to the Fender. Back to square one.

lee650
For me the "bass of the moment" has to be the retro musicman stingray in sea foam green, im quite taken with it, justlovely i will have one one day!!! im also very interested in the dingwalls featured in Bass guitar magazine with the fanned frets (the cocobolo one in bass direct is especially nice) and my current GAS list includes a Marcus Miller jazz and a fretless NT warwick thumb 5- never bloody happy PS im still loving my new Ken smith too!!! Photos as of Monday or Tuesday. Other than that, search 'my two p's' thread, they are both my badboys of choice.

Sibob
My bass of the moment is still my 2003 US Jazz! Sounds cheesy, but it literally blows me away each gig! Si
alembic1989
This is the bass I want at the moment....but the 6 string version.. http://www.lightwave-systems.com/products/...bass_guitar.php that and a schack carbonite 5 or 6...with a 35" scale
BigRedX
That Lightwave Space Bass (for me it would be fretless 5-string) is the only bass I'm GAS-ing for at the moment. It's my favourite Tune Bass shape plus lightwave electronics - what's not to like? I'll have to sell my Sabre A 4-string first though. sshorepunk
My Sei and Pedulla are doing the job for me right now, could squeeze another 5 string Jazz in there though, maybe sea foam green or Sonic blue, Nordy fat stacks, maybe an audere pre. From the likes of shuker or sei! T
