The purists would say no, nada, not a chance, you’ll go to hell, however life is to short and it’s a bridge replacement. “Your friend” will need to do some deep soul searching and possibly go to therapy of some kind to be able to be comfortable with the decision that he comes to.

So I bricked my HX FX. Tried everything the internet suggests but it won't come on. I ran it on a non Line 6 Power Supply (a Diago 3 amp 9v) at practice and it was fine. Now it won't start at all.
I've checked the power supply (the proper one) and it's delivering the juice, but the box sits inert. No lights nothing. So before I turn it into an ornament (and monument to my stupidity) is there any suggestion anyone can make?

might be a stupid suggestion but if it was working when you switched it off at rehearsal, not got a bit of debris preventing the on/off switch working properly just needs clearing out?? Or is the rocker switch working fine to?

My will power was tested when I was approached to see if I was still interested in a fairly rare pedal I’ve wanted for a long time. Needless to say, I failed the test. 😂

Putting up my MXR M82 pedal. I bought it off here just before Christmas but after playing around with my c4 I can get an m82 patch and I have a fwonk on my board already so seems a waste for it to be sat around.
