3. A US Fender Precision, a Precision I assembled myself from bits and a 'Starforce' 80s thing I bought for 20 quid a few years ago that I may smash up in a video or something.

Just the three now - the most I've ever owned. Dropped back to one 15 or so years back but this year got back to three with the twins

Have got just the two - the Ibby and the Squier. Ticks most of my boxes.

Doesn't stop me GAS'ing for a couple more - maybe a Squier VMJ fretless and some kind of MM - a modded Squier VMJ with a MM pickup (DIY) or a Sandberg Cali JM4 (that earlier thread got me cooking for one!!). Oh, and I'll either get into 5-stringers again, or get my self a cheapo Jazz, and string it BEAD/ADGC - I'm missing those low notes atm.

Main users now are an Alembic Orion 5 string, and a Les Paul. Some get played occassionally, some sadly seem to get little use these days, as the two bands I am in use drop tuning.

I just landed another 78 Pecision, with the help of a good mate. It is waiting for me when I get off the plane in New Zealand in a fortnight´s time.
Thats 78 number 4 for me and Precision number 8.
I may have a problem.

I still want a few more though:
a black/black/maple 70´s Precision,
An Eastwood Rocket,
a Danelectro DC59,
an Aria CSB 300
and a Dean Stylist Cabbie

I swear, once i have all those, I´m done.

Most of the time I only ever own 1 because one will get used more than the other so invariably the second one will get sold, another one bought and so on.

If it was how many basses have you owned then I'd be in the high 70s but have only ever owned about 5 at any one time
