1. Thanks for that Del, i'm more interested in the MBX than the MBE though, they're a little more in my price range. Wouldn't mind a pair of MBE's though actually, they do seem like really good cabs. Liam
2. HI all, I'm after some relatively cheap matching 2x10 cabinets, and unfortunately when i've actually got money theres never anything on here. I spotted these on Thomann for £157 each, and they don't look too bad for the price. They're pretty light (18kg) but have a tad lower power handling than i want, and theres nothing on SPL anywhere either. Anyone got/used any of these cabs, or any ideas on what to look at which will suit me better? Liam
3. Nobody'll notice that when you're onstage, its not too shabby of a job, better than i could do, and that actually looks like quite a nice P bass. I'm doing the reverse to my Ibanez, going from PJ to P. Liam
4. Welcome to the forums Callum, I'm actually doing that to my own GSR200 in the next few months, turning it totally passive. Liam
5. Steve, because i have long hair, i want a blue p bass, i play fingerstyle, and i like triplets. Liam
6.

I use them to whip students who can't spell properly. Sometimes I'll flagellate the ones with bad punctuation too, but only if I'm feeling really cantankerous.

Remind me never to take one of your evening classes. Back on topic, i stick mine in my gig bag for the rest of eternity (till i break a string really) or when i change strings again. Edited for better punctuation so i don't get whipped. Liam
7.
Had my Berg IP stack for the last 3 years - extremely happy with it.
I should expect you are happy with a Berg IP stack. Thats quite an impressive rig. Liam
8. If you're willing to change on postage, i may be interested in this. Liam
9. I'm sure i've commented on this before, but nonetheless... The only thing i would change about the gear i have no (Amp wise) is the fact that i wish my head was a little lighter. I don't have any cabs as of yet (Till i get paid next week ) so i can't really comment on those. I have had a few dealings with other cabs over the past few months with my head, and i must say, that a Warwick ProFet 5.1 coupled with an Ampeg SVT-810e is one hell of a combination. In short, im not 100% happy, as i don't have any cabs, and i'm still gassing for a Mesa Boogie BB750 + 2x210/2x410/2x212 rig.... Liam

11.
This bloke looks like trouble if you ask me
I think we should all keep our Jazz's under lock and key, and not let them out after the suns gone in either. Welcome to the forum Mac. Liam
12. Welcome to the forum. Looks like you have quite a few projects going on there, i'll have to check them out later when i get chance. When i joined BC i didnt know about the marketplace, but i soon discovered the amazing deals in there... Liam
13. I'm really glad i don't have £2k right now... 5 string, Maple board, HSS, One of the best tops i've seen on one of these... I feel like robbing a bank already. Have a free bump for such a beauty of a bass. Liam
14. Oooooh, me likey... (just a shame that my bank balance, now at less than 50 quid, doesn't) I hope this is gone before i get paid, or my cabs might just get put off even longer than they already have been. Liam
15.
Must remember to pack a spare guitarist in mine.
Probably a good plan, spare singer might be useful too. Infact, get a singing guitarist, save space! Liam
16.
My guitarist forgot his instrument at an audition, and went to get it while the rest of us took the piss...shortly before he arrived I realised I'd forgotten my lead. We didn't get the gig.
Thats why i always have a lead buried in the bottom of my gig bag, that very rarely comes out. Liam
17.
Do you spend your time admiring other people's faeces?
No, but i have to put up with the stench. Its normally around a 7 or 8 out of 10 on the Sh*tter Scale.... Liam
18.
Just what I was thinking, would have been a most useful optional extra & quite rare amongst gigmobiles
With what my singer unleashes before every gig, i'd be much happier for the toilet not to be in the van that i have to sit in... Liam
19. Strangely, my Ibanez GSR200. Its been modded (Is happening right now, like it has been for 3 months) thrown around, dropped, beaten, broken, covered in stickers, even been through an incident involving a BMX and Toyota Yaris and survived (without going out of tune might i add, perfecet Drop D). It only cost me £149.99 in 2007 but i still love the thing. Took out the 2 band EQ, and converting it to fully passive, going to stick a Wizard Thumper in there, with some new hardware, give it a really good setup, maybe a refin and defret sometime in the future, who knows, but i wont sell it on (Partly because its worth f*ck all). EDIT: I ripped out the Jazz pup too, it was unnecessary, but now i have a big hole in my bass, covered by some strange sticker with glow in the dark eyes on it that i got from Kerrang! Magazine. Liam
20. I was having problems yesterday on my home pc (XP/Firefox) with the site either not loading at all, or taking ages to load and then coming up with what looks like a mobile version, not had chance to try it today though, so it might (And knowing my luck, after i post this, will) be fine. Liam
21. I normally get in contact with the headline act beforehand, more as a matter of discussing cabs than kits, but i do throw that in there too. Our drummer has no problems with sharing his kit, even actually let another drummer use his whole kit before now (Breakables included, the guy was a good friend) without any problems. His kit is easy enough to change to a lefty configuration, so even Dad3353 could play it, its pretty much all on its own stand (Except the ride which is mounted on the kick) so its pretty versatile. Edit: Although i check about drums myself anyway, its normally organised by the promoters that we work with for multi-band gigs, i just like to be sure. Liam
22. I use either a Chase 20ft right angled, or a Venom Sidewinder 20ft and both have lasted me 2-3 years so far without problems. I am going for OBBM cables when i get my wireless though, because the supplied ones are normally crap. Liam
23. I'm thinking you might mean Trace/Ashdown stack, not Ampeg. One quite nice looking stack nonetheless, still think those MAG cabs look really classy. Liam
24. I'm really glad that white Jazz doesnt have a maple fretboard, otherwise i would be all over it.... Liam
