  1. Robert bought my MB Combo. He was an absolute pleasure to deal from start to end with excellent communication skills. I would therefore whole heartedly recommend him to all BC’ers without reservation. Thanks again Robert, hope you enjoy the combo👍
  2. oops, wrong section🙈🙈 can mods please transfer to the Feedback thread please?
  3. Robert kindly bought my Combo from me and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to end. I would therefore recommend him to all BC’ers without reservation. Thanks again Robert👍 All the best, Tim

  7. Hi, the 802 combo amp delivers 150 watts RMS as a stand alone unit running at 8ohms. If you connect any 8ohm extension speaker, the amp delivers 250 watts RMS running at 4ohms. Fully insured postage to you would cost £24.00 Thank you for your interest, Tim
  8. A really nice sounding and easy to play Headless Jack Bass from 1991 having a PJ pickup arrangement and a bolt on neck which has the advantage of being able to be shimmed if the neck angle, or action is not to the players liking & they appear to be quite rare, or so I’m told in this version. Passive version, so no batteries to worry about. Fits into a standard six string guitar Gig Bag, or Case - not supplied, sorry. Nut width is 38mm and the string spacing at the bridge is 19mm. Action is low all the way up the 24 fret, double octave fingerboard. There are various small marks / dings but nothing serious that affects the playability and far fewer than you would expect to see on a 30 + year old instrument & the Frets are in excellent condition. The pickups have been replaced with Wilkinson Varigauss P & J pickups - the original pickups will be included in the sale. Controls are Volume / Volume / Master Tone. The original pots and loom have been upgraded to an excellent Kiogon solderless connections jobbie, which includes a Switchcraft Barrel jack replacing the original that can be a weak spot on these Basses. Weight is a shoulder friendly 7.95lbs and it has zero neck dive. Tuning is via the original Licensed by Steinberger Bridge, the tuners turn freely & seems to keep it in tune ‘forever’ - ish. Truss Rod is fully functional and does exactly what it is meant to do. Californian Solid Maple body & neck with a beautifully figured Indian Rosewood fingerboard. Collection preferred, but if you are too far away from sunny North Staffordshire, I can package it well for posting to the U.K. Mainland only - sorry, with postage at cost price to the buyer, which would be £15.00 via next day AM delivery.
  9. Gavin kindly sold me some pickups that were far superior to the stock ones on my P & he was an absolute to deal with. Second to none communication, great packaging plus speedy dispatch. Needless to say - but I will - that I would whole heartedly recommend him to all on here without reservation. Thanks again Gavin, appreciated👍👍

  11. Drives me bonkers🙈🙈 - asking thousands and can’t be bothered to take pics of the butt end date stamp, which also then shows the condition of the truss rod nut + pics of the action in the playing position & pot dates etc It’s like a car salesman expecting a customer to by a second hand car without wanting to lift the bonnet - rant over👍👍
  12. Kevin kindly came to my rescue by answering my wanted ad after I received a P bass on which the height adjustment screws had seized in the barrels. He promptly sent a Fender bridge off in the post and it is nothing short of superb - he wouldn’t even let me pay the postage! Kevin is a credit to Basschat and a shining example of what being a member is all about. Thanks again Kevin, you are a true Gent Sir👍👍
