Marvin
http://www.samsontech.com/hartke/products/amplifiers/tx-series-amplifiers/tx600/ Valve pre like the LH series. I'd be interested to hear how that tone stack works. Edited January 21, 2016 by Marvin
danbowskill
To me it is very cheap looking, hopefully reflect in the price?
stevie
Yet other amp with the switch on the back. Maybe their target market is DJs. Sorry, but it looks like a cheapo TC Rebelhead. And only one Speakon is a bit cheapskate.

bonzodog
I think it looks great. I'm a big fan of the LH series and use them as my main amp but also like the shape function from the other Hartke amps. Been waiting for a class D from them so hopefully will be affordable
Dood
I suggested that one what, 5 years ago? LH preamp with high spec D -Class power amp. Would have been a winner then.
JTUK
My general thinking is that you aren't going to get any game changers at the usual Class D pricepoint so nothing new to see here...
Lozz196
My general thinking is that you aren't going to get any game changers at the usual Class D pricepoint so nothing new to see here...
Think you`re right there JT, but still think it`s good to see manufacturers putting out small lightweight Class D amps so that us lesser abled mortals can have the brands/sounds we like, in a package we can carry. I don`t think any of the Class D amps are really ground-breaking in comparison to the bigger models of the same brands that they`re based on, what is/was ground-breaking is amps that are light and portable. Sure some of the sound is sacrificed but I really don`t know how I`d get on playing bass without these small lightweight amps.
AndyTravis
New pedals too? Looper, fuzz, chorus and a bass attack

I run a lightweight option myself and I'd have to say the Demeter is my sort of compromise... but it wasn't the cheapest.

indiegrungesound
I think everyone's comments about this piece of kit are valid, but I'd very much like to try one out when they turn up in the stores!
karlfer
I like the simplicity, it seems to have all the basic functionality needed for a weekend warrior like me. Just an opinion of course

bonzodog
Saw some more pics of this the other day and it looks like all the dots around the dials light up when switched on so should look pretty cool when playing in the dark

AlpherMako4
I think it looks good. I liked my old Hartke amp. They're late to the game so maybe they've stolen the best bits from all the competitors?? Hahaha hahaha hahaha
Beer of the Bass
I really liked the sound of the LH500 when I tried one, so if this sounds similar but smaller and with more control over the mids it might do quite well. I'm not wild about the cosmetics though - it puts me in mind of a CB radio set... Anyone seen an RRP yet? I have it on an old Kickback combo and think of it as "The good tone knob". Set everything else flat and turn until you get the tone you want, with any bass.
