      Ditto 👍

  2. The UK National Screeening Committee has today passed on the opportunity to recommend screening the vast majority of men at high risk of prostate cancer. This is deeply disappointing. If you agree, please sign the link below (and ignore the donation request if you want!) so my charity and others can keep the pressure on. Thank you

The speeches. The patient Darren really brings it home why this is so important.

    2. Clarky

      Clarky

Fender Geddy, Fender CIJ P, tube preamp/DI. Already sold GK combo, a bunch of pedals and a posh PSU in a flurry of deals. Just trying to pad out my feedback thread as its only up to 15 pages 😆 Yikes

I would've been very interested in your CIJ P, but typically a buyer has just had to pull out of buying my Competition Burgundy Vintera II Mustang due to car troubles. :angry2:

  6. On the very odd chance that some/any of you are attending the East Finchley festival tomorrow, I am depping for my old goth/post punk band The InSect at 4pm on the main stage. A short but sweet 25 minute set

  7. If anyone is looking for a bass playing role in a melodic, gigging goth/post punk band based in North London, give me a shout. I have had to give up playing in The InSect but would like to help them find my replacement

  8. wishing everyone a merry Christmas and a HNY!

  9. Thank you everyone! Together we raised £8,560 which, with the non JG donation of £35, amounts to a  grand total of £8,595. Most of the funds are already with Andy and the balance will be with him in the next few days.

….and Moog and Roland were also well represented.

  18. Pet Shop Boys at Royal Opera House tonight. What a fantastic back catalogue of great pop songs and a tremendous show. And errrr not a bass guitar in sight!

  19. Anyone fancy some goth/post punk action in North London on Saturday night? My lot, The InSect, are playing Aces & Eights (just beyond Camden, by Tufnell Park tube). Onstage 8.30pm

  20. OMG, Nick Cave & Bad Seeds back on form with amazing, anthemic new single Wild God

      hiram.k.hackenbacker

I like the song, but I'm not crazy about the mix. Sounds very toppy to my ears, but that may well be a Nick Cave thing. I'm far from an expert as far as he's concerned.

Played there Saturday afternoon. Not the most spacious of dressing rooms but did enjoy the general old-school roadmonster vibe. Beefy monitors!
