    Darkglass Anagram

While I'm on the subject, as there is expression input, DG could add a two or three buttons aux option. If they are feeling really adventurous a resistor ladder with scope for any number of buttons but probably 6.
  3. Oh wow this thread exists. Well I've got two! My Consat Custom 6, and Votan 5! Both incredible instruments, right up there with Fodera and custom Dingwall in terms of quality and feel.

I'm using a Morningstar MC6 Pro which is awesome but also a bit pricey. If you just want a few more buttons I think some are using the m-vave chocolate which is cheap as chips (£30 on Amazon) and very compact. I've not used one so can't vouch for it but I'm sure you can find some info. I'm hoping for some improvements to the midi implementation soon but we shall see.
  5. Id like to see a back metal band with guitars in that cheerful shade.
  6. deadliest earthquake in recorded history I think
  7. limited release = limited to how many we can sell
  8. I Will Follow You Into The Dark - Death Cab for Cutie
  9. That is exactly what I do with the Rolls. I also ask the soundguy not to send any bass in my mix, to avoid phase issues.
  10. I understand your curiosity ! but I'd rather not do it myself since the ramp seems to be securely attached to the body. I mean I don't think there's any problem removing it but perhaps during a routine visit to a luthier ? Thanks for your comment!
  11. October 22nd 2025: Cort released the Cort GB short scale. January 5th-ish: Sire announced Gen 3 and new models. January 9th 2025: Ibanez have announced the release of the new line-up. January 16th (i believe): ESP-LTD will make their new line-up known through their website.
  12. All the ingredients for a good sounding board. All in good working condition. Just want them gone so I'm selling all together. . Idiot blower box ,well regarded (rat based) beast of a distortion .Demonfx bass preamp (Ampeg clone) .Demonfx Darkglass alpha omega clone, sounds like original (sprayed black). .Sonicake OC2 octave clone which to me sounds pretty much identical . Keeley mag echo delay clone (sprayed black) , lovely analogy delay with modulation .murder one kill switch £130 collected or add a couple of quid for post. Happy to send other pics
  13. Good lord. Is this still here? It’s feckin gorgeous
  14. That bass is a work of art.
  15. Today
  16. What MIDI footswitches are we using? I like the Darkglass footswitch, but nearly £200 is tough to swallow right now.
  17. Count me in too. Quite happy to pay up front if needed. Cheers
  18. S martyn is making some epic short strings right now. They have a freedom/little which is a Fodera single cut style in 32 or 30. Brazilian rosewood. Pretty awesome. Then they have a little dingwall style bass that’s called the Blaze that a lot of people are playing. Proprietary pickups and they are headless. Easy to string b-g or e-c. You all may already know about these but they are really high quality handmade instruments that can be had for a steal (relatively speaking) on the used market.
  19. The pacific peach with a different paint scheme. I like the look though. I'd add a black pickguard, thumb rest and an ashtray bridge cover. If it's even remotely similar my 60th Ann. RW Jazz, it will play and sound beautifully (and I imagine it's the same for the most part - bar finishing) Pretty cool.
  20. Is that the one that was up for sale on here a few months ago? I oggled that a few times! Nice
  21. No worries, glad you found it useful. Definitely saves a lot of time in the long run.
  22. Dementia also close to home for me as is Breast and Prostate Cancer.
  23. Ah. Sorry, I did not factor the knobs in. But still a great preamp.
  24. Got hold of some black M3x30mm screws, countersunk for added stealth... Added a couple of M3 nuts to help keep it in place. Then fitted it to the bass... Amazingly, it fit first time! There's not a lot of room to wind the pickup down further, a mm or two maybe, but it's at a good place and I'm just happy I didn't have to howk out some of the pickup route for the humbucker mounting lugs. Gave it a quick test, and after I swapped two wires (because it oddly came with the series join out of phase?), it's working as I expect. Sounds pretty good in cans. Will record some clips over the weekend.
  25. Not selling the PJ, just the P. Will consider Mustang and Japanese trades.
