Mudpup Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Did you receive any bass related crimbo pressies or unexpected winners this morning? I was lucky enough to get a used Bergantino cab ready for my return to live gigging in a few weeks time and also a posh Tempur pillow from their refurb shop. Once I've seasoned it nicely with some dribble and snot I'll report back on it (both the the pillow and the cab) Edited 4 hours ago by Mudpup 1 Quote
itu Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Lindt chocolate. Also found a box of effects from my garage. Most probably will sell some of them as well as my misa Tri-Bass. Quote
verb Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Indirectly, yes. I received an Amazon voucher from my work, which I used to purchase some D'Addario strings. 1 Quote
Reggaebass Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Santa brought me some Pino Palladino Signature Smoothie Flats, I might have to buy another bass now to put them on 😁 7 Quote

40hz Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Happy Christmas all! Santa (aka me) bought me some D'Addario Nickel strings. Will work beautifully with my Classic Vibe 60's P-bass. 1 Quote
AndyTravis Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Got my chrimbo present early this year, not bass related…some nice boots Did get some pennies towards a used Epiphone Sheraton though. So that’s close. suppose I should keep that a secret though as I’m doing more guitary stuff at the moment 🫣 Many Christmas x 2 Quote
miles'tone Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I was gifted a vinyl cleaning kit for my old records that haven't been used for 30 years. (We bought a record player in November) 👌 2 Quote
dave_bass5 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago As im now mainly a keys player, i got two bass multi FX for Christmas 🤣. I had asked for one or the other a while back, but as i got a GP-50 earlier this month i took them off my list. Now i have these two, a GP-5 and GP-50 🙄. Quote
tauzero Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago T-shirts - two bass T-shirts from Mrs Zero, and an Ankh-Morpork City Watch one from her sister (which will probably be skin-tight on me as it's only XL). 1 Quote
chris_b Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Merry Christmas one and all. I've been feeling out of sorts for a few days and today I've woken up with a sore throat, body aches, and fatigue, which are the symptoms for this year's Covid!! 3 Quote
Lozz196 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Not good, fingers crossed it’s just a touch of seasonal lurgie, Chris Quote
colleya Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Double gig bag. Fancy strings. Plus my present to myself - a couple of SBL courses that I bought back in November. Time to bite the bullet and make a conscious effort to improve. 1 Quote
SumOne Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Hammond MIDI pedalboard (Christmas present to myself though!) Gives me the scope to become Geddy Lee, or a great Organ player. .....or the more likely outcome: Playing drone notes hands-free while I practice noodling bass guitar in that key over the top. Geek99 Posted 20 minutes ago Posted 20 minutes ago It will be harder for them to come back and pinch it nothing bass-related as no one here understands bass. Eldest D is pictured playing a @Prosebass 5 at about three years old and twanging a jap jazz bass at around eight months but that’s the closest I got 1 Quote
ped Posted 15 minutes ago Posted 15 minutes ago I got a strap with pictures of Fred and Sybil on it ❤️ 2 Quote
ezbass Posted just now Posted just now This year, as with previous years, I received absolutely bugger all bass related. In fact, the only pressie for me at Ez Towers was a shared one, which was a picture of Wee Ezette, with Santa, in a snow storm frame, which I’m very happy with. Quote
