Kevsy71 462 Posted June 20, 2020 Moollon P classic in Root Beer Sparkle. P classic with J neck, gorgeous player! I love the colour, although I haven't yet compared it with actual root beer as the Co-op only had Dr Pepper: Really pleased with it, very high quality craftsmanship throughout. Looking forward to stringing it with incoming La Bellas as I'm on a lockdown Jamerson journey! Will record some tones when I get the chance.

The second hand cost is similar to the new cost just because they’re so sought-after. I think the current build time is around 10 months. Mine is currently in the post to me 😁 Si

I don’t think I’ve heard one negative word about them. They sound like wonderful instruments.

I could see myself ordering another P (although not yet by any stretch), probably blonde with maple board (like Kevin Scott's). Si

And why over any of the other similar options out there?

And why over any of the other similar options out there? For me, I’m not aware of anyone building true 60’s spec Fenders (less the ebony fingerboard) for this price. YJ has even researched his own metallurgy mix for the hardware to match Fenders recipe. They’re a good grand cheaper than Custom Shop. I was also swayed somewhat by Tim Lefebvre and Kevin Scott using them as their main instruments Si
