  1. Don't see many of these about. I have the same in the jazz version. GLTWS
  2. Oh goodie, after 14 years membership, I'm now a rising star. Thank you everybody.

  3. None of them bother me. One of my old faves are Ax Cx (can't use either word of their name), who set out to be the worst band ever and until Coldplay came about, Ax Cx were winning. Although I do think K$$t are just a bit naff.
  4. Lee bought a D-tuner from me. Great guy to deal with, comms good and paid fast. Thanks
  5. I can do 20 mile radius delivery included in price.
  6. 4.2kg according to the luggage scales. Sorry, the last few things I've sold on here have been damaged in transport, so I'm just not going to risk it anymore.

  9. I can also recommend David Wilson here is the jazz he did for me
  10. Kevin sold me a bass cab, all good, top guy to deal with. Thanks
  11. Hi all, I'm downsizing to a 1x10, so selling this cab. I've owned it for around 2 years and it hasn't left the bedroom. I put my Ampeg PF-50T through it, so at 50w max, it's not exactly being pushed. I can't find what the model is exactly. It has an adjustable tweeter and is ported. Very sturdy with inset handles. 2x1/4'' sockets. Weighs around 21kg. It's 52cm x 40 x 50. When you adjust the tweeter, there is a scraping sound, but it might just need a clean, once it's set it doesn't make a noise. There are a few scrapes and such, but it's in good condition overall. I can provide more photos if needed. (Amp not included😉) Price includes postage to Mainland UK, Collection from TN12 is fine too (-postage cost). No trades please.
  12. Taken from the 2008 catalogue, which I remember owning back in the day and must have read it cover to cover many times. *Edit* I'm not sure if the ebay one is a slightly earlier version
  13. Don't think it was originally string through...... Not much to go on, have you tried taking the scratch plate off? might be something under there, or under the pick ups.
  14. I'd like to see the effect put through a high quality amp as well as a more inexpensive amp. And for it not to be a slap-womble-fest, but rather a mix of playing styles. And if possible, added to a pre-recorded band mix, to help hear it in a real setting.
  15. Such a shame, as his early stuff is so good

  17. The three I have now: My first bass a squier bronco, bought new 18 years ago for £114 (found the invoice the other week). The neck has a natural "vintage" tint now. It's stored away, but I get it out occasionally. Warwick thumb BO4, I instantly liked this bass when I got it, the feeling and tone. It's the one I play the most. Fender elite jazz, always been a fan of jazz's, especially black block maple necked. I had this one resprayed in Oly white by Dave Wilson and I've made it passive VVT with a set of dimarzios. It's now a perfect jazz bass for me. Just need to source a decently priced BT-12 d-tuner.
  18. Dabble in some Sourvein and Church of Misery, not sure if they're classed as doom, but it's pretty epic. Often have desert/stoner metal playlist playing on youtube, can't remember many artists on there, but enjoy the tones.
  19. Just bought some flatwounds from Dylan, good comms/dispatch etc. Thanks.
