  2. A matching pair of grey bobbin 1978 fender Jazz bass pickups with grounding plates. Originally bought for a project that never got fully finished. The output values are shown in the pictures, any questions please drop me a dm.
  3. Another seamless bargain deal done. Everything you want from an online transaction. Deal with confidence! Shug
  4. Hahahahahahaha. It is fine. Not the music I love the most, but it is fine. What I really enjoy is playing with the people in the project
  5. Chris contacted me to ask if I’d consider selling a spare 6SL7 tube that was bundled in one of my pedal sales. I had a think about it and agreed. All the details were sorted swiftly with prompt payment, and clear and friendly communication. I’d happily transact again. Many thanks.
  6. Would likely take an interesting swap for this. I was hoping to use the money towards a short scale ACG, but also in the market for a Jazz, preferably a Flea signature in pink if there's any going round. Send me a PM, always up for a chat!
  7. Welcome Hana. You may have been reading about a "reverse P". This is where the E and A string pickup is nearer to the bridge than the D and G pickup instead of nearer the neck on a standard P. This results in a slightly thinner sounding E and A string relative to the D and G.
  8. I'll probably get confused and turn up with the wrong instrument... cello, sax, 3 manual organ console....
  9. Thanks to @MichaelDean and @EBS_freak for the advice. It looks like I will be ordering a set of Comply Memory Foam tips, to see if these will act as an effective upgrade for the ZS10s. These tips are compatible with the ZS10s https://www.complyfoam.co.uk/products/isolation-series-500-core-memory-foam-earbud-tips?variant=38150374260934 I will report back with my findings. And if the Comply tips don't help, then I will follow @spyder's lead and invest in the 215s. Generally, it was interesting to hear that different people have different preferences for in-ears - there is no "best", only "differently suitable".
  10. Who owned the GK800RB under your Laney? Spectors SLAY through those heads! 🔥🔥🔥😎
  11. That's an awkward one - IMO unless you're a tribute band the 9 minute album version is too long but I don't want to lose a verse, so we're working on a hybrid using all the verses and choruses but with the short version of the instrumental from the single version.
  12. Say It Loud – I’m Black And I’m Proud - James Brown
  13. I'm not sure The Who ever played it the same way twice! If you find live recordings, or some of the alternate takes, it sounds like the solo sections were used as a space to jam, and the cut that made the album was just their preferred take...as long as your singer can get the scream right at the end, I'm sure the audience won't mind a bit of ab-lib!
  14. It was a really fun one on Saturday night at the recently renovated Exchange basement in Bristol. It used to be a big corridor with a tiny stage, but they've opened up the space and now there's a bigger stage and increased capacity. We were opening up for a local band's new album release and I got to try out my Spector NS Icon 5 live for the first time, which was nice. The gig was a sell out and I was surprised at the number of people who came to see us. My brother and his mate came along too, so that was really nice to have them there as well. On the Spector front I tend to pick rather aggressively at a gig and with the curved Spector boddy and big pickups, I lost count of the amount of times I smacked my fingers into the pickups. They were feeling a bit sore the next day 😅 That's going to need some work if I'm going to play it live more! It sounded great through the usual Boss GX-100 -> Laney Digbeth and then the venue's Barefaced Super Twin. We played well and individually had lots of complements after the gig too. Should be getting some professional pictures back from that gig at some point once we hear back (and pay) the photographer. The other bands were Row of Ashes and the headliner Epimetheus.
  15. You have a rotary encoder U12 that could be interesting. I will investigate more soon.
  16. The half-Spaniard in me spotted that set-list a mile away 😅 Are you playing with Dani Martín?! 🤘@javi_bassist
  17. What tubes are in this? There’s no info on the Jule website. (Monique I see uses 6SL7 and 12AU7, among others.)
  18. @paul j h how many pairs of Schaller strap locks have you got? Are they chrome or nickel? And, to be sure, does pair mean the socket + the button for both end of the strap?
  19. Cheers fella! Yep, it's been a year in the making and many auditions were had... It was tough finding the right people to cover the main Tom Johnston, Pat Simmons and Michael McDonald roles!
  20. It’s my pleasure to kick off a feedback thread for Chris. He contacted me to ask if I’d consider selling a spare 6SL7 tube that was bundled in one of my pedal sales. I had a think about it and agreed. All the details were sorted swiftly with prompt payment, and clear and friendly communication. I’d happily transact again. Many thanks.
  21. This might help you set a realistic asking price. F.Y.I.
  22. I bought a valve from Peter and it arrived quickly, as described and well packaged. Great seller! Thank you.
  23. Superb @cetera, so many great songs to choose from. Once toyed with the idea of a Doobies tribute but couldn't get the right musicians up this way. That band is so good. Fantastic FOH sound too. Well done. Dave
  24. Ibby SR300 Jazz-esq Neck, Smaller, Lighter, Comfy Body Shape, Loads Secondhand, bound to be one near you, £250ish Or a GSR200 for less than £100 - but the SR300 is well worth the extra.
