  2. Ptash. At least Rush will deliver a quality performance.
  3. However, according t'tinternet, he plays guitar, keyboards and drums. Hmmm🤔
  4. Again, quite a lack of exposure online. The FI is capable of some pretty great sounds (thought Meris have the edge in nicer built-in effects).
  5. The only time I made an impression at Karaoke was when I chose "Firestarter" 🤣
  6. Basically because MXR have sunk a lot of money into marketing and Panda haven’t.
  7. A seat with a view of the stage at Ronnie's that's a score.
  8. Did anyone ever explore this further? Legit? Si
  9. I've got a Double Trolley by Marc Grue. I got it broken and have mended it to be in usuable condition. I found this unusable, where the wheels were bent, and the wheel frame did no fit the stool, and the latch under the seat snapped and a few other problems. I've put a new latch on and rebent the frame, cleaned it up and tighten some loose parts so that it is in good working condition. I've have tried and tested a couple of times going to and from, and at rehearsals. This is a trolley which helps move your bass around and conveniently doubles up as a stool. Tyres hold pressure, and will require a bungee to fasten to your bass. Find out more about it here: https://doubletrolley.com/index.php Due to the size of the item, I would prefer collection in person. I can provide more pictures on request. Open to offers. Thank you

  10. Desert Plains - Judas Priest
  11. Got one of these... nice unit, sounds great. Lots of gain manipulation options. GLWTS
  12. Yes it is.
  13. Now £350.00. This amazing emulation of the acoustic control corporation 360 preamplifier with variamp and built in fuzz is up for grabs. Hand made by the renowned JC Maillet and commissioned and imported by myself at great cost. I have used the 360+ for studio recordings, gigs, rehearsals and at home, it has never dissapointed. The preamp sounds fantastic and the fuzz section is the best I have used. I have owned this pedal for a good few years from new, as can be seen it's in pristine condition. Specially sourced UK power supply also included. Will happily run from other sources with the right leads (I used it with a trex chameleon). Fully detailed printed instruction manual also included. Only available as I have more preamplifiers than I can use. Try out/collection always welcome, or UK insured postage for £15.00

  16. I found the link in the end, Chris. It's lovely.
  17. An artist for me is someone who pursues expression within their chosen discipline. As a bassist I have never seen myself as an artist. I am a craftsman, and I like it. I have recently started wrting and recording my own stuff. I never used to because I could not imagine anything I ever wrote comparing to Zawinul or Corinne BR or Floyd or Ben Folds (only the 5 iteration). I have recently made peace with the fact that the noise I make is the noise I make and none the worse for that. So part of me is exploring that artist side. I have just retired so the world better get ready for my Grey Vanity Project! The advantage of retiring is more time (apparently). The disadvantage is that I no longer have access to the beautifully equiped, ATC packing, control room at work.
  18. HPW said mine was bubinga too until i asked him to look again. Afzelia Was the standard wood for Thumbs from this time...
  19. Sky Arts 23:00 - 00:20 Tonight Thursday 16th Oct 2025 Ian Dury and the Blockheads... Hold on to your Structure. "The Blockheads perform live from the Hammersmith Odeon in 1985"
  20. Well, I gave it four minutes.
  21. In a way, maybe it is better that groups are like this. Yes, Rush were cheap to go and see in the 80s, but they were a youngish band, now they are a legacy band so maybe they get a legacy audience that now have a lot of money. There are a ton of youngish bands that cost very little to go and see, maybe it is good that a younger audience have the youngish bands.
  22. Status is 4th declension, IIRC like manuus (hand). Edit: And virus (fog or miasma). Which reminds me, a rather ill-educated feminist I once met was all offended at the fact that handbooks were called "manuals".
