Lemmy action figure to commemorate Ace of Spades’ 40th birthday...

Recommended Posts

Yup you read it right. Now you can get your own little mini Lemmy  to make sure you get no sleep ‘til Hammersmith.

Just make sure you buy yours quickly before Mr Hall and his m’learned friends kick the door in and slap an injunction on it for selling fake Rickies, infringement of trademarks and trying to pass of the teeny plastic accessory as the real thing!

Wow, didn't realise Ace of Spades is so young or is that I'm so old?

This seems about as un-Lemmy as it is possible to be in every sense.

If Action means that you're active, does Passion mean that you're passive?

Asking for a friend ...

Maybe we are all being too cynical.

When I was a kid we played at World War 2 with Action Man . Maybe kids nowadays need to play at Motorhead with dolls like this one. An afternoon spent with other children acting out  imagined scenarios from the Bomber Tour during  the autumn of 1979 could be both  therapeutic  and educational. They could use Barbie dolls as groupies, and Blue Peter could show you how to make a hotel room out of an old shoe box.

Someone is dancing on Lemmy’s grave.

An $0.18 figure priced at $18 which will probably cost more than $18 on top of that to import into the UK.

100% garbage.

I bet.  He looks more like Arnold Schwarzenegger than the reality - guy with narrow shoulders and neck like a hyena.

Three questions:-

  1. Why is he portrayed playing fingerstyle?
  2. Why has he got Simon Cowell-style high-waist breeks on?
  3. And, finally, why does he look not a little unlike He Who Shall Not Be Named?

One of my brother's mates got him a custom action figure made for his birthday. It's definitely more accurate than Lemmy's:
