Very jealous of that - next to impossible to find :/

I'd wanted one for years. Then it came about by pure chance that one was available and I jumped at it.

This thread has made me realise that apart from acoustics, this is the only natural wood finish I've got.

Look at those two on the left 😍

Ibanez do some astonishing finishes... More often than not when I click on an Instagram thumbnail for a closer look at a stunner it turns out to be an Ibanez... that or a Brubaker.

Yes the second from the left is my number 1 bass, the one that always gets played. the depth of the finish on the blue one is amazing although it is shiny so I am always paranoid about scratching it!

I can’t seem to find a thread with natural basses, so I’ll start one.

The older I get the more I appreciate some of the natural woods. I’ll start, nothing in fancy in comparison to some that I expect will appear 😃

2 ash Jazzes, Fender Marcus Miller and an a lovely Sadowsky UV70.

I'm also a big fan of the natural look. Although I much prefer a modern looking bass to the classic Fender style.

What are they NFF?

The 4 string is a Traben Neo Ltd with a few upgrades, Seymour Duncan pups, preamp and Grover tuners etc. The sixer is an ESP B-206SM.

You are a walking bass encyclopedia Andy. You never cease to amaze me.
