This stream auto-updates

  1. Past hour
  2. Best bass chorus there is IMO hands down,
  3. Not as yet, this is a question often asked by new users when migrating from analogue desks, the general opinion is that a pad is not needed. Incidentally, the auto gain is useful to get you in the ballpark. Once it is set, turn it off and do slight adjustments manually. Also be careful with the automatic feedback circuits, The live mode can be a bit aggressive, so use it to set fixed frequencies but leave live mode alone. Both these were lessons from personal experience.
  4. Thanks all. Back to a stable internet connection so I'll update the playlist. If people can post Spotify links rather than YT that makes life waaaaaay easier, as I don't have to find the same song on Spotify, compare it to YT etc etc. 🎅
  5. Ive managed to find a guitar box, so delivery is now an option
  6. You have a couple of options with that desk. I’m assuming you have a mono monitor mix coming from one of the aux outs. Once you’ve set your individual mix via the app, you can also adjust the eq of your overall mix to your taste which can take out some of the boom. I’d also check you’re getting a pre rather than post fade/eq mix too. Unfortunately you can’t adjust the eq of individual channels of your aux mix but you could use a P16M rather than a P2, fed from the ultranet of the X18. That’ll give you stereo in ears and a fully controllable mix via the P16M which is like a small stereo mixer, just for your monitors.
  7. Got myself a nano pedalboard and a drop pedal so had an upgrade since I last posted my board around a year ago. Don't judge my shit cable management 😂 or the floor that needs a hoover
  8. Oh for a second I thought this was the extension cab and was about to immediately pounce. i have one of these and it’s an amazing amp. It’s very loud: Volume at 3 to compete with a drum kit and two fender twins, it sounds lovely and round, but has more shaping than I’ve ever had cause to use. They also never come up for sale.
  9. Peter Gunk — Duane Eddy
  10. I got the gigs through a mate I'd played with in the past. One was a band he had also depped with, and he recommended me. The other was with his current band. Initially they weren't based on my reputation or my visibility as most of my gigs with my main band over the last few years have been private functions. It's all about contacts.
  11. From Skin to Liquid - Cannibal Corpse
  12. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  13. Today
  14. Oh, that sucks 😖. However, the bass looks great and Lee Sklar would hugely approve of your ‘flipping the bird’ with dislocated digits.
  15. I Drive The Hearse - Porcupine Tree
  16. Looks like a surface scratch, probably from a hasty string change.
  17. Well, randomly (actually trying each of the options on the label and hearing which suits best with your rig) flipping switches is a perfectly decent way to go. There's no-one else going to be able to tell you how your rig will sound with the various combinations and which of those you personally prefer.
  18. Looks great!
  19. Our band is pretty well known locally and I think people know who I am. I never get any calls to play with other bands. You're very lucky. Daryl2
  20. Hi Rob, Absolutely love this. PM sent!!!!
  21. I bought a couple of prints from a Dutch 2nd hand website. They're images of a Fender ad campaign from 1975/1976, but I can't seem to pinpoint exactly what I have bought. The prints are about A4 size, high quality paper and printing. I can find similar images online, but they always feature a lot more text under the images. Does anyone recognize these imges and can tell me what exactly I've bought?
  22. Back for sale after timewaster messed me about - reason for return, i didn't mention the 3/1000th of an inch off the frets when levelled and crowned - a newbie that didnt know why fret jobs are done - was worried why it was done on a new guitar - so i explain why and luthier also offered to talk to him- kinda like taking a car back to the showroom as you'd included top spec instead of factory spec - anyways you people on here will appreciate a lovely neck finish - i think he just didnt know what he wants - good luck getting a cheaper bass with lovely fret ends - ah well we live and learn. For sale lovely birch green Fender player 2 i bought early this year and have recently been using this or P bass to see what fits what i'm doing and the P bass has won - for that middy growl. Have bought a Squire CV Jag as back up - so now this faces being an occasional bass and it's a great player, so should be someones to use. Made in Mexico these are now really good little basses. Great QC Had luthier sort the frets, which he levelled , crowned (they were flat from factory!) and ran glue under each to make sure they pinged and bevelled off the slightly rough edges, basically your getting a Plex job but done by the hands of someone with 40 years experience. So now with the rolled edge finger board, satin finish, it is great to play. Dark rosewood board, with maple neck, the body colour looks even better IRL. Weighs about 8.5lb but balances great. So lightweight and versatile. Strung with new Ernie Ball Super Slinky 40-100 - very nice action. Very useable pickups. Comfortable bridge for palm muting. Priced to sell - collect from Clitheroe or meet up or can post to UK in box for £20 - if i post there's no returns - it's a lovely bass and sure you'll be happy unless you're not all there like last buyer

    Feedback for ikay

Ian bought a pedal from me - no-hassle, prompt payment and friendly comms. Many thanks!
  24. You mentioned that the neck wasn't properly finished and needed sanding earlier didn't you. Doesn't that make it faulty or not of satisfactory quality and consequently it should be on them to cover the cost of return under distance selling regs? If the finish is inconsistent on the neck it's undisputable surely?
