Ive watched the first two episodes and I enjoyed the bits when they weren't focusing on Hooky and Melissa. Nothing against them but I found the small contributions from the other bass players more interesting, especially Mark King, Adam Clayton  Daryl Jones.

Watched all the second episode last night, I had never heard of the featured bass player, her style of playing did not interest me and heavily distorted bass tone does nothing for me, good to listen to the comments of the other bass players though.

I watched the lot yesterday. Really enjoyed it. There were appearances from

other bassists that weren’t listed (Adrian Younge, Mark King were just two…) Could’ve done with a couple more episodes, hopefully we’ll get another series because they really barely scratched the surface…

Glad I'm not the only one, I had to switch channels after 20 mins, nothing of interest, move on. I think it shows how the long standing program makers have lost touch. There's Scott Devine's YT channel, which at times is great and other a bit silly, but the guy can play and I learn from him (and Ian)  I think also media makers like Scott can create content how they want free from editorial control. YT is producing some really great presenters/tutors  Luv it.

Only seen episodes 1 and 2 so far. I found episode 2 pretty boring with mostly "agricultural" Grade 1 level playing. Maybe that's why they shoehorned in Larry Graham and Mark King, to counter the impression it was giving that bass can be mastered in a couple of hours?

I did appreciate confirmation of my excuse for not singing anything more than oohs and aahs backing however; it's bloody difficult!
