Stub Mandrel Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Finally found Gary Numan's set. Bloody awesome. Sound issues I read about seem to have been addressed with a bit of post-production. 5 Quote
AndyTravis Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I quite like this Noah Kahan fella… Guild Startire 2 bass…lovely. Quote
upside downer Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Watching The Brian Jonestown Massacre is a fine opportunity for lookalike spotting. Neil Young is singing, one of the geeky students from The Simpsons is drumming and they even had @Stub Mandrel playing hand drums on their first song. 1 1 Quote
Sean Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I wish I'd had a tenner on Nile Rogers at William Hill. Clear winner. Quote

jezzaboy Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Just watched a bit of Rod. I like the guy but I`m thinking it`s time to knock it on the head. He made a right bollox on Maggie Mae and his voice sounds quite weak. And yes I do know the guy is 80 but there comes a time... 2 Quote
Stub Mandrel Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Strange how some people keep their voice - Neil Young for one but Arthur Brown is another. Quote
ian61 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Switched telly on to.. Celeste? Beyond less than impressed, seemed terribly self indulgent. 20 minutes later Im hooked...Shes definitely an interesting individual. Quote

Nice to see her doing well at a festival for a change, after what happened to her duo. 3 Quote

He's earned his time for me so I'll cut him a bit of slack... Edited 6 hours ago by Mudpup 3 Quote

bassbloke Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) If there's one thing i've learnt in my 50 years on this earth it's to keep politics and religion out of online discourse. I can't fault Kneecap's performance. The video clips before the start of their set were perfect. Musically, Ezra Collective were the standout for me. Edited 5 hours ago by bassbloke 1 Quote
YellowLedBetterBass Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I've just put Maccabees on. Good to see them back together. They were one of the first bands I ever saw live in my early teens, and have always been one of my favourites. Was gutted when they split up. Quote
Buddster Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Question to anyone who's been, and been to one of the main stages. How annoying are the flags? It just looks like, in some places all you'll see is the back of a flag, or sea of poles. Quote

Most aren't too annoying viewed from the crowd - it looks worse on telly as the camera is far back, high up, zoomed in. 1 Quote

A nice change from some taking themselves far too seriously. 3 Quote

The other thing that grinds my gears at these big events is folk who feel the need to be on someone else’s shoulders; it’s just inconsiderate for people behind. 1 1 Quote
