mikel
Fill the set with 12 bar blues. Play them all in the dame key and you can simply repeat the same bass line.

I used to think all blues songs were the same, until I depped with a blues band... The bass has so much influence, it puts you in control especially if you're with a like-minded drummer. You can turn a plod into a shuffle at the drop of a hat.

Conversley, I've played with drummers / guitarists who can turn a shuffle into a plod. Being as talented as they are, they can turn anything into a plod

I know....... but the OP was asking for "Easiest set". If you learn one 12 bar bass part you COULD play it in every song. Give me strength.
