Here's a poster that my old band did when i was in school. For the last day of exams. Went down a treat.

While the generic band poster with the blank space at the bottom is very cost effective, as a marketing tool it can loose it's effectiveness due to overexposure unless you use it solely at the venue itself, or you don't play the same town/city more than once every two months.

In the days when the bands I was in produced their own posters we used to do a completely different one for every gig (although keeping within the band style). That way each poster was fresh and eye catching, and the posters never got tired through over-use.

These days with the Terrortones most of the posters are done by the promoters of gigs that we play. In fact AFAICR the only poster we've produced ourselves was this one for our single launch gig:

arrgh match your blacks!

100% K is not the right black!

Luke - you are right. I was aware of that - the printer said he's alter the file as necessary - and he didn't. But, in the flesh, on a pub wall, there's no real issue.

Still happy though.

This is the poster from the last gig I ever played, which we did to celebrate what would have been Chris our guitarists 40th birthday (he died from a brain tumour when he was 36).
