Graham Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 I was having a discussion with the wife to be the other day over the correct pronunciation of Lakland, I always assumed it was 'Lake-land' (no e, but an accent over the a) but she thought it was 'Lack-Land' and she's normally better at these sorts of things than me - anyone now the answer? Also Wal, is it pronounced like one of those things that hold a roof up or differently? My mate reckoned it was 'wahl' but that doesn't look right to me.
