Not so much intimidated but my reputation, especially going forward in bass building and if I potentially want to make this in the next few years post Police (don’t hate me) retirement option, it is really important to me. This is especially when it comes to asking people to part with their hard earned cash. It doesn’t matter to me that in the grand scheme of bass prices, this is right at the bottom end of the scale. I have applied 2 tests to myself over the last 25 years of public service. The “my mum” test and the “mirror test”; “Have I treated others how I want my mum to be treated?” and “Can I look myself in the mirror at the end of the day and genuinely say that I did my best today whether I won or lost?” So as of today and coming up for a week after the last contact about issue, I have had no further contact from the buyer. I left the ball in their court to let me know when was convenient for them to let me have the bass to look at and that I would turn it around for collection by the next day after that.

I guess I shouldn't really post this here but I can't help myself. This is a complete solo guitar performance of the Astor Piazzolla tune 'Romantico' from the 2008 Al Di Meola album, 'Diabolic Inventions And Seduction For Solo Guitar Volume I (Music Of Astor Piazzolla)'. It's actually playable (unlike most Al Di Meola solo guitar). It's reading the chords and the contrapuntal voices that makes its challenging. Just because some people are willing to work for free, it shouldn’t become the norm. In fact, I’d have expected Glasto to be better than some of the more corporate rivals. I’m sure tuning a festival is costly, but taking advantage of artists who make the festival what it is seems antithetical. Guess inside every hippy really is a capitalist waiting to get out. To all the artists performing I hope you have an amazing time.
