Slightly easier when the options are more restricted, but very good point.

Band Mule: A calendar app for bands Anyone using it?
cheddatom replied to Phil Starr's topic in General Discussion
It's never worked like that. You share the calendar with your own google account, and it appears (or not if you like) overlaid on your own google calendar. I have loads on mine -
A bridge or neck pickup..? ...

Toxic - Brittany Spears version, although we're probably gonna have to faff about with it as we're a 3 piece instrument-wise.

Oh how I wish every manufacturer could produce instruction videos as good as this.

I think it is just one way but I’m not certain! You’ll likely need some kind of external switcher to bank up and down between presets. It’s like the C4 in that respect. The MXR video manual demos this pretty well.

I'd do it in 2-4 bar segments. With 16 bars I suspect that you've been limited to the nearest whole bar by the number of different notes that MIDI supports. Export audio is in the Format drop down menu in the Export dialogue box. The default setting is just the MIDI file, but if you change that to one of the audio formats the next dialogue asks if you also want to export the MIDI file as well. From what I recall (it's over 25 years since I last used it like that) ReCycle! works/worked very well with Akai samplers. I bought my copy to use with an S2000 which was connected directly to my Mac via SCSI. As I suggested in my last post, if all you want to do is change the loop tempo you are better of using REX files so long as your DAW supports them.

Temporary bodges that just last the course

A jubilee clip came off a pipe under the bonnet of our old band transit. A lad fixed it for us with a ratchet strap from his pickup. I assumed the boss had had it fixed but I asked him about it a few years later and apparently it had sailed through 3 MOTs before he swapped it for a new transit -
Great point. The Old Blood Noise Expression Ramper would work perfectly for this application. It has a one shot mode to instantly jump between values and stay there. I don’t use mine in this way but should work well for this kind of application. I use it for big slow filter sweeps that aren’t possible using a manual expression pedal. My MXR Synth should be arriving today. I can post a clip of it using the OBN Ramper to demo both of the above if there is interest.

I wonder if there's a midi to TRS adaptor to control the CTR jack via midi? I'm sure some clever, enterprising so-and-so will figure it out in time.
-
You could probably even use a latching TRS switch in place of the expression pedal to immediately jump between two values, or use the expression pedal trimmer to get the full output range over a shorter travel to effectively mimic a switch.
-
-
Does the external switch to change presets only go one way? I know it's only 8, but up and down would be much easier live.

Having graciously bought Krispn's Anagram from him (legend btw), I'm finally happy to clear out pedals and board I don't need anymore. The Cali76TX isn't for sale, I just have not yoink'd it from the board yet. Remastered doesn't mean its any better
Lozz196 replied to Jean-Luc Pickguard's topic in General Discussion
I’ve got two remasters, Never Mind The Bollocks by The Sex Pistols, and Appetite for Destruction by Guns N Roses. NMTB has a bit more oomph to the bass and the guitars seem a tad sharper/less middy. AFD has better separation of the guitars so easier to tell which is Slash or Izzy, and the bass is boosted - a bit too much imo for listening at home but good for the car. But for me when listening at home I prefer the originals, I bought the remasters for the car and the added low end on both was good for that. -

Well spotted!! I didn't look at the spec, just assumed that Starstream = short-scale.
