  1. Past hour
  2. I get irrationally nervous when @SteveXFR is behind me, and start driving erratically. At least, I think that it's him - I can't properly see, on account of the whacking great fish sticker across my rear window. 😉
  3. PM'd re envelope filter
  4. Buy your wife whatever 3D printer she wants. Then you'll both be happy.
  5. All the songs with kids singing in 'em sound like that, including the Floyd one. Unless they sound like "Grandpa, we love you" with professional old codger Clive Dunn.
  6. Fantastic story, congrats on getting the bass back john 😎
  7. @Leonard Smalls is in two minds about St Winifred's School Choir's cover of Another Brick in the Wall.
  8. The tone from these is amazing! GLWTS
  9. Recording. I don’t like the process or the environment. To me, modern digital recording smacks too much of pi$$ing around on computers. I’d rather busk outdoors on a rainy Wednesday than spend time in someone’s home ‘studio’ (spare bedroom).
  10. Are you sayin you don’t like, There's No One Quite Like Grandma by St Winifred's School Choir Leonard 😁
  11. I find the Suite a bit clunky and not that intuitive but have got used to it. I've not tried to create any patches in the Suite....is this a function as Ive not really looked? 🤷‍♂️ All my patches have been created directly on the Anagram as its so easy. I hope you persevere and get used to it as it is a great unit.
  12. Up for sale is my Mexican made Fender Vintera 70s Jazz Bass in 3 colour sunbust that I bought as B stock from Mann's Music in March. The bass (serial number: MX22287391) is in great condition with the exception of a small area of lacquer loss near the strap button (pictured). Looks and sounds great, the pickups have that great bright, slightly compressed 70s Jazz bass sound. The bass comes with a gig bag that Fender describe as 'deluxe', it's really not. Cash on collection would be much preferred as the gig bag included with this bass is distinctly lacking in padding protection and I wouldn't be able to insure this with a courier as there is no hard case. A half way meet up is a very real possibility if you’re in the South East. I’m not interested in trades unless you have a Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass (the original black version without a pickguard). Any questions, please let me know. Here's a link to my previous feedback as a Basschat seller for assurance of a clean and honest transaction:
  13. Bought for a spare pedal board a while back, but never actually got to use it much. Pretty much mint condition. £100
  14. While were on it, anyone else's kids at school concerts. They're all rubbish and wasting everyone's time.
  15. Your pics make my 12 string look 'normal' sized! LOL
  16. Russ

    Darkglass Anagram

So it's here. First impressions - smaller than I thought it'd be. Solid construction. Nice packaging and cool carry case. Not many default presets to play with. Not sure I like the Darkglass Suite software - maybe I haven't got to grips with it yet, but I haven't found a way to just visually build patches by dragging and dropping blocks. Honestly, a little underwhelmed so far. But I'll persevere.
  17. Not using this anymore so might as well let it go. Incredible tooI for taking a not so great sounding mixing/mastering room & making it very useable. Sale is for the software license (I'll transfer directly to you via Sonarworks) & the calibration mic etc pictured. £120
  18. It’s amazing isn’t it, the weight of the gear that we used to have to cart about.
  19. It only becomes real when I admit it to myself. I actually only went there to buy the bass buggie but he persuaded me to buy the bass as well.

  21. Okay! That's good to know! Let me sleep on it, and you have a think as well and maybe we can discuss it. Cheers!
  22. For a bit of balance, not everyone likes the Hartwood Satellite. I have to admit the sound is probably a bit marmite but then he seems to have only tried it with the horrible OEM strings:
  23. Looking to sell this set of Fender Custom Shop 60's Jazz Pickups. They are in great condition, and the wire hasn't been trimmed at all from new. £110 £100 Price includes UK postage. PM me if you have any questions
