  2. Good suggestion but trying to keep costs down and I'm more than happy with my Harley Benton power supply, these have been my go-to for a few years now 🤙
  3. I had basically these, but with a weird wood grain effect. Rechargeable and sensibly come with a double headed lead so you charge both at once they pop up with money-off quite regularly on Amazon
  4. A simple solution, be it one with a high upfront cost, could be to replace your existing power supply with one that already has a USB charge port on it, such as the CIOKS DC7. Though it's pricey, you could sell whatever you existing supply is to claw back some funds, and the CIOKS is pretty amazing - a worthwhile investment. At least with this approach you know that it was designed for that application and you're not putting any strain on the supply, or injecting noise etc. into the signal chain.
  5. I have the 5.8G Lekato system as above and so does my guitarist in our duo. They just work and so far go on working. I think I've had mine for three years. Before that I had the Line6 system with the 2xAA batteries which is still going strong but I preferred the fom of the Lecato ones with no more fiddly battery, covers bought the Lekatos to try and never looked back. Hmmm a second pair so I always have some charged.... @neepheid you may have started something.
  6. Damn what a beauty
  7. Or something like this to put inside a pedalboard? https://www.tehonline.co.uk/products/dc-9-36v-to-5v-3a-dual-usb-power-supply-charger-step-down-converter
  8. I guess you're looking for a simple cable like this? https://www.amazon.co.uk/XMSJSIY-5521-Step-Down-Converter-Extension/dp/B0DCNG2FWH

  10. I once found a few dozen very intimate personal photographs in the front pocket of a gig bag that came with a Stagg Strat I'd bought locally for £20... Definitely saw more than I'd bargained for! Promptly returned the photos to the person without thumbing through the entire stash!
  11. Oof, if i wasnt imminantly about to move into a flat, id be all over this, perfect colour housing too.
  12. I'm On Fire! - Bruce Springsteen
  13. Bought the Mike Campbell memoir from Mick - our very own Basschat legend. Thanks Mick
  14. Lucky you. I was told by him this year that in-person visits are not possible even though I've been there twice in the past. I live in North London not far from the premises. I don't want to be told that twice so the store is no longer on my radar, which is a shame.
  15. We didn't start the fire - Billy Joel
  16. Mooer Ensemble Queen chorus pedal (mini format) in excellent condition. No longer needed and selling all my current pedals. £25 plus a few pounds delivery. £29 to your door! Get in!

  17. Hi Neko, looks like at least the concept exists! I will keep searching for something more plug and play
  18. Bought on a whim, im really not a pedal man. When i have too many knobs to twiddle i spend more time messing than playing. Can send in UK if i can get some packing stuff together. Great working condition and the RPD (ric, precision, drive) labels will pull straight off
  19. Looks good. My panels needed to fit in a certain orientation as well. I appear to have made the back panel flush so if I put any foam behind it, the panel would stick out so am contemplating what to do. I could route a 1.5mm ish recess around the back panel so I could put foam in. Not sure on foam stripes, wadding or cross brace. Advice seems varied on whether it will help. I suspect we both have the same offcuts so the cross braces seem easy to do though. Suspect the weather won't be good here so might be Saturday before I do anything else. Let's see how yours goes. Rob
  20. I replaced the elephant tuners on my Belgrado with lollipops. Big improvement, if you ask me. There are more tuners on the way for my De Gier bass.
  21. A lot of bass for the money. GLWTS.
  22. Speaker paint ordered from Penn Elcomm, I should have some Blue Aran rollers knocking around as well as black spray paint.
  23. That Carvin B4 at £450 is a steal, shame about the thumb rest mods though and the bridge is also a cheap replacement. It will probably have originally had a nice Hipshot B style which looks much better: https://fenderfever.com/products/1?_pos=63&_fid=cdb17b57b&_ss=c
