Yeah the octaver is definitely the weak point with the pedal. Saying that, it isn't strictly an octaver, it's a pitch shift effect so maybe an octave is too far for it. I sold an OC-10 recently and it was a cracking little pedal so it is a shame this part is so weak. Again, as @Al Krow mentions, an analogue pedal vs a digital recreation is always going to be poor mans version. Saying that, I don't see myself using it for this anyway, and as a preamp / modeller / NAM pedal, I think it's a cracking bit of kit. My only gripe is that the mod effects don't have a wet / dry mix control, delay and reverbs do, but I would have preferred to be able to control how much chorus I add to my sound. Yes, I can tame it with the controls but a wet / dry mix level should really be there in my view.
  3. Superb pedals these, if it wasnt xmas and all the associated skintness id have this off you
  4. I shall watch these later when not at work. I loved the stuff you put up during lockdown, it was a real treat to see that a new Alibi clip had been put up.
  5. Weigh it, weigh it, weigh it
  6. What’s out there ??
  7. 👍
  8. 100% agree. I think we've had that discussion on BC before. For me its a hobby and if i don't enjoy it then there's no point, but i appreciate if its an income you rely on then its a whole different story and you need to work at it no matter what comes your way just like any other job. Dave
  9. Owen bought a Fender book from me. Great communications throughout and super fast payment. An absolute pleasure to transact with and therefore another highly recommended BassChatter!
  10. You know we all wanna see it 😀
  11. It is big, it is heavy, it is collection only. Out of date - I disagree. These genuinely are excellent amps. Having owned a Mesa Strategy Eight:88, an Ashdown CTM300, a Marshall VBA400, an Orange AD200B, a Trace Elliot V6 and a Laney Nexus Tube, I can confirm that the latter holds up to the best of these valve behemoths. It is an underrated amp. £500 for the full rig is (if you have the spine for it) excellent bang for buck.
  12. Delivery cost from Daventry to North Yorkshire would be a bugger though, you may not get the extra half bag.
  13. Thanks Gareth, the tour is going well so far. Yeah I have to pinch myself at times, it’s very cool. Steve is a big fan of our band, they even used one of our songs as a B side. He’s a very down to earth bloke whovabsolutely lives for his music. Nice guy!
  14. The Inevitable Teaspoons have never had a guitarist, and I've often said that the only guitarist we'd consider hiring is Steve Cropper, because of his tasteful, considered playing. Now that ship has sailed, the 'Spoons will forever be guitarless. RIP The Colonel.
  15. Because it's big, heavy, out of date and collection only.

  17. Beautiful bass, if I can sell my Fender Mustang competition Burgundy, up on Reverb and Facebook marketplace, I'd buy it, smart mods too, I never liked the idea of those toaster buttons ...I've never bought & sold on the forum, not sure how, maybe I should
  18. The bass aside, I'd be very wary about buying from any trader called "Fair Deal" anything. I mean, deal is quite a pale wood but this is obviously red...

  20. Stax legend, Blues Brother and master of the Telecaster. A giant of popular music. RIP, Steve, say hi to Duck.
