  1. Past hour
  2. We send out new gig announcements via messenger to confirm availability. I noticed yesterday our drummer is no longer included. Daryl
  3. I've never owned a 15, and the only 15 I played through once was in a Line 6 combo... it sounded awful, which was probably the ridiculous amp in it. Currently, I have a 212, which sounds completely different to a 212 I had several years ago. I also have a 210 which I'd say is more coloured than the 212 in that it sounds to have less top end than the 212. In my limited experience the only constant I've arrived at is you have to try it before you'll know what it sounds like.
  4. Maybe pickup height isn't set correctly? Faulty input or lead could be a possibility too. From what I've heard these basses should sound decent stock.
  5. I'm working on getting my nerve up to contact him. Daryl
  6. This.was mine I was payed well under the asking price for it feel so upset and sad I hope the seller gets double for for it I was taken advantage of my situation but it’s all about making money these days I lived and cared for this bass just hope the person who eventually buys it enjoys it as much as I did 😢😢😢😢😢
  7. It's a 1994 with a Telecaster body style with an active pre-amp. I don't know much about the L2000 but I think they're pretty much the same bass. Daryl
  8. Lobster just did a review of this model and it came off very well indeed. This has a really pretty finish. GLWtTS
  9. I love the concept for your band!!! 😎
  10. It’s The Reddings (Otis’ offspring) with Dexter Redding on bass The well known track is ‘The awakening’ but I thought that was too obvious as Les Claypool is known for knocking that one out
  11. I'm not sure I understand why Paul McCartney would be interested in buying Hofner. He's played the same one for the past 60 years has he not? It doesn't appear like he's a prolific buyer of Hofner basses, but I could be wrong.
  12. There’s a band called Headsticks that might be worth booking , quite loud but do a half decent show 😁. hope it goes well Tom. fo you have a website/facebook / promo space to keep an eye out on ?
  13. Very nice Karl - I must be strong.
  14. +1 Andy's just bought a Mooer FX Pedal from in what was a very easy and pleasant transaction. Highly recommend, as said above already. Thanks Andy and I hope you enjoy the Mooer... Cheers Nik
  15. Today
  16. Who is it. Sounds like a Stingray so am guessing Louis Johnson on bass.
  17. Sasha from Rostoc basses has just bought ught one and posted the photo . Looks absolutely fine to me so in my opinion you should complain
  18. IMO, this is exactly what you want from a showreel. lots of energy, interesting camera angles, quick cuts and zooms. Crowd dancing and singing along. Also, important to have a vertical version too, as so much social media is consumed vertically these days. This is my bands version for an upcoming gig, in the similiar vein, a bit less punk. https://www.instagram.com/p/DRZ7sdzlK7V/
  19. Any chance of a picture of the bass? I can probably guess what Harley Benton it is, but always easier to pass comment if people know which bass it is.
  20. Gravy Train - Mark Knopfler
  21. Amazing weight for a ‘78! Perfect gigging machine!
  22. And here's a short demo vid for this amp - one of the best I've ever seen for any amp head! EBS 360 HD demo
  23. Hi Monad, Is this still for sale? Cheers, John (Oneandfive)
  24. 👍
  25. I can't imagine Paul McCartney would want to be spending his time & money trying to save a failing business at this point in his life.
