  1. Past hour
  2. Cancelled. Friday night, turned up to the pub for 7:30pm as agreed with the owner at 11:30am by text, to find 30 or so people still eating and drinking in the band area of the pub. Duty Manager (amazingly, the actual Manager was nowhere to be found) told us they'd had a funeral/wake group come in about four, and they were still there. Apparently there'd been a cancellation text to our BL about 4:30pm, which he hadn't seen. I mean, I get it: that's 30 meals plus probably 120 drinks extra, or pay the band. Turns out they'll be doing both...the BL's furious and he'll be all over them tomorrow. Still, an early night, and we'll get paid (BL's enthusuastically litigious)...eventually.
  3. I'd forgotten that one. Which language was that from?
  4. Welcome to the Jungle - Guns 'n' Roses
  5. Very interested. Do you know the weight please?
  6. Recorded on 16 August 1970 and released with the premiere of the A&E documentary "James Brown: Say It Loud" James Brown - We Got To Change | Bootsy Collins
  7. The longer time goes by these 700 series Yamahas are becoming classics. Great great price here.
  8. Welcome to tomorrow - Snap!
  9. Also can be notated as x**2 (which has strangely moved the asterisks so they aren't level with each other).
  10. This is giving me major GAS. Stunning instrument
  11. Yeah I regularly curse myself for missing that one. Just didn’t have the cash at the time.
  12. Yeah, it's all relative, but 3.67kgs isnt lightweight for me any more, I'm looking down around the 3kg mark these days...it's a shame...
  13. Need to shed some weight from the stable, hoping the price prompts a swift sale to do that. It is a lot of bass for the money. I have the 5 string in the new red finish and its gorgeous - but is busy.
  14. All for £28! It’s a good book to be fair, I just need money for the microphone.
  15. So many builders are including CV capability as standard now as well... so when I previously owned this, it was only really working with my Moogerfoogers and Eventide. I actually has IE make a custom Xero for me that would work with it. Now though, load software pedals play nice. All but one pedal I'd love to use this with have CV functionality built in. it's a bit win.
  16. Ive heard of talking heads but I don’t think I’ve heard that one, I’m finding it better to fret the A rather than using the open A like I’ve seen in some covers, nice Bassline
  17. Never mind bass influencers scrabbling around for money, you ought to be making your shameless depravity pay. Only Fans Terms and Conditions are easily accessible online. You owe it to yourself and all the other sick bastards out there.🙂🐕🐍🙆
  18. This is an amazing bass, I love Sterlings and the 5 is very special. This one looks a peach. A great price too. I'd jump at the chance if had the funds and didn't already have one. Anyone tempted should snap this up. GLWTS.
  19. Fantastic cabs and for me, the HD is Bergantino's finest range, if not its lightest. I use the HD210 and it's very probably my favourite cab (and I've had a lot!)
  20. Set of rack mount bars for a GK RB amp. I haven’t owned a GK amp for several years but they would have come off of either a 1001RB II or a 700RB III as I owned both. The bars are complete with all parts including screws. No trades thanks. Price includes shipping to locations within the UK. I took the photos myself and I am blind, so my apologies if they look like they were taken by a drunk person.

  21. Today
  22. Ooh, nice! Is the body scaled-down, or full size?
  23. Wow. Must be quite an experience hearing it for the first time as a bass player. Timing is everything, surprising how many bands can kill it not in a good way).
  24. itu

    constant fixed tone
