Search from Amazon that Cherenkov bluish powder and mix it to the paint. Choose Strontium based powder over Zinc and others to get the longest possible glow. I've done tests with 2 - 20 % of luminous powder to paint. I might suggest around 5 - 10 % depending on your needs. Green is the most powerful colour, that's why you need more when using blue or other colours.

Having struggled across a car park and rammed through triple-doors to orchestra rehearsal last week - nearly taking out the wind section at one point - I need to seriously consider this! How do buggy users cope with also carrying a heavy bag containing seat/stand - can you just balance that on the bass as you wheel it…?

Just came across this thread and it is actually a situation I have on my mind. No names, no pack drills: a bandmate in one of the bands I play in expresses very anti-immigrant views, given the chance. He is a radical Reform supporter and reposts some really poorly researched, utterly false claims on Facebook. He seems to be a sucker for far-right conspiracy theory. I am OK with people holding opposing views to me but I lose sympathy when they are based on the most transparent misinformation and involve little to no critical thinking. Trouble is, this apart, he is a really nice person. The only person in the band who expressed any real concern, or interest when I was in hospital for 10 days a couple of years ago. The only person who visited me at home, to see how I was doing, once I was discharged. He is also very generous and willing to help friends out. I can’t reconcile his political views with the rest of his character. I think he has realised that I don’t share his views (I am not sure about the others, equally divided I suspect). Consequently, we just don’t discuss politics at all in the band. I once pointed out to him that, although I hold British nationality, I am a dual national and an immigrant myself, as is my other half. Apparently, that doesn’t count. I suspect because we are both white and not Muslim. Apart from that instance, subjects that could cause contention are avoided and I never acknowledge, or mention his Facebook posts. Am I being a coward, should I leave the band on principle, or is this respecting other peoples’ right to hold opposing views? I am inclined towards the latter position: there is too much polarisation in our society. However, it still troubles me.

Thanks for posting that. When I had my first 60+ last year I wasn't aware/didnt cross my mind I oculus use a midi pedal. what put me off the 60+ is the fiddly way of tuning effects on and off. I already had a Boss FS-1 WL for keyboards and other things, but never thought it could more or less become a pedal board. Can't wait to try that over the weekend. I plan on using just one patch. Comp - Chorus - Phaser - OD - Amp (SVT). I'll possibly duplicate this and change the amp to maybe a Fliptop for more mellow stuff, and possibly change the FX's if needed. The foot switch only has 3 buttons, but that's perfect as I'll set them for blocks 2-4.

Hi, If you are comfortable with soldering iron then de-solder the transformer winding wires from wherever these are attached to. Check for shortage between primary & secondary winding too - in my hifi valve amp one of the secondary transformers went to heaven for that reason - very rare failure i was told but nothing I could do about it. 🤦♂️ If the transformers are fine then the fault is obviously somewhere else, just a common sense and look for any wire detached or anything that looks burnt out.. That Mullard ECC83 is indeed worth few quid, don’t rub it clean as if there is a code printing on it it rubs off easily and actually this code can tell what year the tube was ,,born,, etc.. Wish i had this, fingers itching.. I hope though that the fault has nothing to do with transformers as that is the most expensive component here.. (bar the tubes if any of these are causing it but then any cheap new production tubes would do for the purpose of troubleshooting ).

Finally just offered up the brushed ali guard I got and I’m super happy with how it looks. Sorta glad I stayed with the silver to be honest.
-
Ok so took off the pick guard to check out the electronics. They look very puny so I am glad I already ordered a prewired set of CTS/switchcraft electronics from Tiny Tone. Should arrive soon so I can solder them in.

Ok so got the new bridge. Compared it against a Hipshot one on my other P and the BBOT on the Squire. I like it.

There is no magic to having two cabs. The power is split between the cabs giving the drivers an easier time. When you start pushing a speaker, power compression creeps in and close to maximum power will rob you of half you volume. Beyma used to publish power compression graphs for their drivers but as no-one else did, it looked to the layman that they were the only ones that suffered it. The second cab is also closer to your ears and that has to be a good thing. -
I would happily to be in a band with either of them because they are both proven to be excellent writers and I do not think their views are unreasonable, some of linemans actions do seem to be highly questionable but to be fair we don't yet know the full story. I would also note that historically many of the most creative people have not just kowtowed to the currently fashionable ideallogys and have dared to question the beliefs they have been pressured to hold whether that be religious orthodoxy, the demonisation of homosexuality, the superiority of their own culture or the trans ideology opposed by the aforementioned public figures.
