neepheid Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) Total scam. As soon as I saw the URL, I knew. Edited 6 hours ago by neepheid Quote
Steve Browning Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago There seems to be something along similar lines, offering 70th anniversary Strats for free. The pictures on one ad include a Jaguar, a Bass VI and an unopened Squier box! Quote
Woodinblack Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Facebook is full of scams. I saw one last week for andertons, selling marshal speakers for 9.99. I have seen those before and know they are scammed, so I looked, sure enough it said anderton music supplies, had their logo and everything, then look closer, 120 followers. Reported it as a scam, Did a search for andertons, hundreds of thousands of followers, no little speakers, contacted them they said not to deal with the other thing as it was a scam, I said I knew and had reported it but thought they might have more clout, they said they report them every day and nothing happens. Sure enough, 2 days later got a thing from facebook saying that the complaint wasn't upheld. Now I assume everything on facebook is fake, as long as meta get their money they don't care who they are ripping off. 4 Quote
Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Social media companies should be made to take responsibility for scam advertising. They can afford it but they'd rather make obscent amounts of profit rather than spend the money on protecting their users. 3 Quote

Yet they won’t let me advertise my old iPhone on Marketplace - they insist it’s counterfeit! As if a pro counterfeiter would be bothered selling something for £40! Unbelieveable. Quote
