[/quote] It was fitted apparently by the origional owner in 1978, origion unknown. Its very bright and punchy, seems good for slap. It also looks similar to the pickups on Yamaha attitudes, albeit at the oppesite end of the bass. Still an awesome looking bass, I hope you enjoy it! If the mini switch is wired for 'bucker/single coil, it might be worth considering rewiring for 'bucker/parallel as this keeps pretty much the same sound but maintains humbucking in parallel mode. I was really tempted but a little nervous how tidy it was as im a bit clumsy when gigging, but fabulous neck and a huge variety of tones, but...the 75 P just stood out, by the way I had a go on a couple of sandbergs and they were out of this world, the quality of the parts was astounding.
