There was another factory in Hastings which never gets mentioned but I worked there back in the days, we couldn't churn out AC30s fast enough! Sometimes made visits to Dartford or Erith transporting kit between units.

Will be watching that & thanks for the heads up :)

Would love to see it, but it's only being shown in the south east region.
Living in Hertfordshire, I don't think I can get it, so does anyone know how I can pick it up.
I have Virgin Media TV, and obviously Freeview.

AP worked for VOX at some point, then opened a amp repair shop up in Dartford [with a guy called Dick]
Was quite a wiz for repairing gear, and hiring stuff out while he was fixing stuff.
He became quite a hero. His workshop seemed to be open all night for popping in to borrow/hire an Amp or cab.

Can I have a copy too. I would love to see this, I used to use Vox gear when I started out.

Just watched it on iPlayer - no problems.
Good 30 minutes of great nostalgia - Keef in particular!

BBCi player online must not work till the next day or something ? I have access to iplayer via BTVision and i have notic ed that usually about 10 or 20 minutes have to go by before a programme becomes avaiable. Maybe it was just a goof.

Worth watching.

Fascinating documentary - thanks for posting. I couldn't find it on cable either, but it's definitely worth sitting in front of a laptop for half an hour to watch...

Have they done anything similar on Jim Marshall? If Dartford was the centre of rock & roll in the early '60s then by the end of the decade Milton Keynes can't have been far behind!

Cheers,

B.
