What is it you're doing; having a bass made? Depends on your musical style, MM/MM is a big old sound, had a Bongo for a good few years, still wish i'd not sold it. Trav[/quote] Yeah im looking at getting somthing from warmoth, i dont have any places nearby that have a wide selection of bass's to try out. im looking for a more funky style sound. A big MM style humbucker with a jazz bar at the bridge beneath it. As a Warrior owner once said to me "just think, when do you ever solo the neck pickup on a jazz bass?". Though i'd rather not one of those Gibson like ones! E sharp Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 MM . Sweet spot position either the same as MM or slightly forward , but not back . Don't need 2 pick ups .
