1. The studio recordings that I've heard of the two new tracks have sounded ok, but IMO when played live the new material sounds killer. Hard wired reminds me of classic era slayer meeting mop. Not a bad thing at all! Quite looking forward to the album if I'm honest.
2. Mind depends on which band on doing the day. For my main band it's my bc rich warlocks, and my Ozzy tribute it's my fender jag and home build p. With other bands normally my US P, and trusty Kramer or westbury.
3. Boss ps6 Hr2 Both named harmonist. The ps5 should be able to do it too. Ehx pitch fork, and bass whammy should also be capable
4.
What's the difference between that one and the Analog Chorus? Have you tried the Bass Chorus Deluxe btw? Didn't like it?
The black label and analog chorus are the same pedal, just different paint jobs. They thought it would put non zakk fans off with the bullseye graphic I tried the bass chorus deluxe. Tbh I didn't like the extended high end hiss when the pedal was engaged. It had a lot to compete with for the spot on my board anyway, and it didn't wow me.
5. The demo sounded pretty cool. It's now on my to try list- although it'll take a lot to knock my black label chorus off my board!
6. I'd suggest something with 10" speakers would probably fit the bill. If the big sounds great through the headphones, then perhaps it's the speaker causing the issue. Is it possible to try your head through a 210 or 410?
7. About an hour or so. Since I live in North Kent, it puts me across the south Coast as far as Brighton, and into South Essex. Occasionally into that London.
8. Cracking site ped. However the 'early dean' pictured there looks more like a vigier to me
9. Have you thought about speaking to Doug direct? He's very well known for his excellent customer service
10. My little mini board for a classic pub rock dep job tomorrow
11. I have to say I much preferred the tender octave over the pure octave. That said, I didn't like it enough to take my wallet out
12. The chord is a good choice. I also still love my old dod octoplus. It's a great octaver for the little it costs. Long discontinued unfortunately, but fairly easy to come by secondhand.
13. Looks like it might address some of the issues from the previous version. Definitely gonna have a closer look when it appears
14. Mainly eBay these days. Although I'm always on the lookout. Rock festivals can be a good source
15. I had the chance to a/b one of these with the gibbo a while back. It totally destroyed the gibbo. Better tone, weight, playability etc... I would take the epi over the Gibson any day
16. What kind of thing does the pocket plus do?
17. Hi mate. I'm based in gravesend. Drop me a pm, and we'll see what we can do
18. We spread them out across both sets. However, our set list is fairly fluid, so we will change them if needs be
19.
PM'd.
One heading back your way alex
20. Would you consider trades?
21.
Yes, depends what you have been quoted for. How they staff/resource it is down to them, If it is a two man job then expect it to be priced as such. If he has said, he needs help with the load-in etc...expect that to be reflected in the price.
This exactly. I might choose to help, but it should not be expected
