  1. If there are, they will not be mine 😉 Mine seem to to reside in my wife's handbag 😳
  2. I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but the bc rich testicle rest headstock is the ultimate candidate for me
  3. That is a thing of beauty. I'm sure it'll sound as good as it looks.
  4. The head is a 200w not 100 as mentioned. Still a bloody good rig for the money!!
  5. Douglas is very customer focussed. I had an issue with my b3k a few years ago, and Douglas got it sorted swiftly and efficiently- in time for a gig! Can't praise them enough on this front.
  6. That's the fella! I couldn't recall the name as I was writing...... Ehx certainly seem to be on a winning streak at the moment. Far too many options to check out, and therefore too much money to spend most likely!
  7. Just a little thought. The new bass preamp box from ehx has a glove built in as its drive section- the only difference essentially being that they be added a blend to the circuit. Should help alleviate any low loss 😉
  8. I bought a pedal from Cameron. Went as smooth as a very smooth thing Deal wi him with total confidence 😉😉👍
  9. Ooh! This is getting near the top of my try list!! The more I read about it, the more I'm considering getting one!
  10. I have one. I'm using mine for that lemmy grind. Sounds gorgeous! I often get complimented on the sound. At lower gain it sounds pretty good too, I have heard friends use it for King Crimson grit. A bargain pedal!!
  11. I really like my lh500. I gets used a fair bit, as its tone really suits one of the bands I play with. Big, fat, responsive, and takes pedals really well. It is quite weighty, but the tone is too. I rate mine as a great buy for the £200 I gave for it (as a backup to my main head), and I have no intention of moving it on any time soon
  12. I use swing bass on all my instruments, whether for the classic hard rock covers band. Ozzy tribute, or thunderstick. Gives me the growl I love which sits better in the mix for me
  13. Such beautiful playing. Totally in context and nothing that overshadows the song. I'm always inspired watching him play.
  14. One of my pupils arrived at his lesson last week with one of the elite 18v models. It played very nicely, and sounded pleasant: there were some really great sounds to be found in there. It's not something I would buy, as a died in the wool p pup man, but it was definitely a keeper for him.
  15. Bass soul food, dod bass overdrive should both do the trick with a p bass.
  16. Just for information, and the outside hope that someone might find this thread in the future, I bought some of these on eBay, listed as suitable for sennheiser wireless packs, and they fit perfectly. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231065267027
  17. Hi. I find myself in need of two pack clips - the little folded wire clips that attach to the rear of the transmitters. I already have a pouch to sit my main one in, however I prefer to clip the other one to the strap of the backup bass for swift changes, and have a clip for the times I forget the pouch, of just plain and simple want to attach it to my belt. Would anyone have any idea where I can source some? I've looked at some sennheiser ones, but not sure of the size differences. Cheers
  18. Mostly 50-110 But I do have one bass with 45-100. Super fast and super fun to play
  19. The vast majority of my work is cash in hand. I declare all of it- so it is all liable to tax. Paying cash in hand doesn't mean that it exists outside of the standard system, it just relies on the honesty of the person receiving it
  20. Toothpaste cap? Bottle cap? The one on a fruit shoot type drink should do it
