I have Xdr and xdt transmitters and a small g30 type receiver and a rack mount receiver

I’m using neutrik plugs and van damme cables. Ive been comparing my cables with an obbm one that seems to have significantly more top end. My soldering is good. By refreshing I mean that I have removed the previous stuff and resoldered the connection

I'm using an older x2 wireless system for the bands I work with, and over time I'm noticing a definite rolling off of the top end from my basses. I've tried refreshing the solder in the plugs, and even replacing plugs etc, but it doesn't seem to solve the problem. Can the hive mind of BC please help? I'm starting to get peeved trying to work out what the problem is!! Suggestions gratefully received Cheers

I've just acquired a TC BH250 head (Cost me a lot less than your budget) for exactly the same purpose I'm very pleased with it thus far

it seems that there are two versions of that model - one with a pj config, and a soapbar type as well. Great spot dude - cheers!

Hi. Last week I scored a nice, fairly recent AP2 PJ IGB passive bass for a silly price via the dreaded ebay. However, I'm left wondering if I can 'tame' the mids a little. Would a pup ugrade be the better solution, or am i left having to use an eq pedal? Would you suggest? Cheers

Be aware that the earlier sh model p ( blue sparkle/ jap made) does not have the spb4 Harris sig pup. I love my blue Harris, but mainly because I don't want the logo on it. I wouldn't go so far as to say I detest football, but you get the point! Lol the neck is big in the hand, but feels supremely comfortable. If having a good palmful of wood matron, then go for the Harris

Ive spent years 'accumulating' active basses. Over the years, these are the instruments that get the least use. I find most often, as with the op, that they get quickly lost in the mix. So much so, that the only time I use one particular active instrument is to play unplugged. I will only use passive instruments now as they sit beautifully in a live mix and have all the right heft in all the right places.

I've been using the Boss fv500h for many years as both a volume and an expression pedal with both active and passive instruments. Solid as you like, and the feel is adjustable I've also had no issues with reliability or tone suck at all
