  1. no neck dive on my p basses standing or seated. As mentioned above, must be a lightweight (body that is, not the salesman)
  2. I have the orange burst. No loss of lows with my rigs- I get many complements on how 'authoritative' it can sound 😉
  3. The mxr is first choice. I have had great results with the ehx lpb1. There's a slight lift in the mids, but in a really pleasant way.
  4. Back to school bump.
  5. Love my pointies 😉 At the last count, there are 4 bc rich, and one Kramer. I bet @cetera could trump that though 😉
  6. I've always wanted one of these. The stack knob arrangement really yanks my crank. I tried one around release time, and I was blown away by the quality and tone a really nice buy there!
  7. That looks lovely Nick. Liking the maple neck and reverse p
  8. Didn't Nikki sixx do this on the last crue tour?
  9. I can get a signal from a mono source which feeds both ears. I use a set of dual driver phones, and I've had no complaints using them in pubs and clubs as well as large festival stages i also use a behringer ma 400 to allow inputs from differing sources (xlr )
  10. sweatband around the strap and transmitter The long/ double width 80's style ones seem to work best
  11. @clivem has experience with these
  12. yup. do you have a thread running on Kent musicians notice board??
  13. i play in a three piece + singist. I dont have an issue with 'drop out' during solo passages. My basic sound is beefy enough to fill the space nicely. That being said, i do occasionally add dirt pedals or an octave down in one or two songs to create the illusion of getting close to the original tunes.
  14. This week, and for the previous couple of months, it's the caline orange burst. Girth, grunt, and authority. I've had so many compliments since I started using it- I don't even think about changing it!!
  15. All the more headstock to smack mr mustaine with The punishment due? 😂
  16. Everything seems to be ok with this. I'd be all over it if it wasn't active. 😉
  17. As an owner of one of these beauties, I can say (in a carlsberg style) quite probably the best p bass I have ever played.
  18. Aria did a reissue / redesign a few years back. This is definitely one of those couldn't tell you the model though
  19. At the end of the day, if the instrument you are using 'fits' you, that's all that matters. I have a Steve Harris sig p bass. Despite the hieroglyphs on the rear of the headstock, it's quite simply one of the best p basses I have ever played. It's a fair point to say that if I wasn't a fan of 'arry, I possibly wouldn't have tried it, but that's how marketing works 😉
  20. I have the behringer version mentioned by Cosmo above. I also own the slow engine. Of the two I find myself using the slow engine more. I just love the tone. The slow motion is a good clone of the slow gear IMO.
  21. Love my riches. That looks awesome. For the price that was a bargain as well. Theres nothing quite like a twin p mockingbird 👍👍👌
