  1. Iirc, the polish love is a circuit like, if not identical, to the way huge red llama
  2. Lovely basses- really enjoy playing mine. GLWTS dude!
  3. Contact their customer service- they are normally very helpful Totally love my p lyte. Had it since new, and records really well. The skinny neck makes it a breeze to fly around on
  4. Perhaps the pedal on the Amps are ns2s?
  5. All parts might be worth a good look, they supply spares to the uk
  6. Bought a monitor splt-type box from muzz. Thoroughly straightforward deal. Top chap to deal with- cheers! Many thanks mate
  7. Marshall bass gear has always lived in the shadow if it's guitar oriented brother. I have not played a Marshall bass rig that didn't sound good. Granted, on some I had to play with the eq a bit, but solid and clear nonetheless. Whether it's the ibs, DBS, super bass, 800 series, mb, or vba, I will always be proud to play through a rig that sounds as good as marshall's. I will never understand why they decided to knock the Marshall bass brand in the head though, the Eden stuff just doesn't sound as good to me. I doubt I will ever get shot of either of my DBS heads.

  10. From looking at the pics here, I find myself drawn to the thunderbird II bridge- probably what inspired the Warwick two piece system. I would be very happy to play a t bird or rd with a bridge similar. Nothing more 'rock' Ot- beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder
  11. Ehx glove Hardwire cm 2 - often found for less than £50 s/h Danelectro transparent overdrive. Either v1 or 2 sound great with bass Chord bod50- sounds similar to the odb3, but to my ears sounds better Dod fx91 bass overdrive. Great range of tones Ehx hot tubes nano. Wooly vintage esque tones and tone stack on/ off switch Ibanez phathed. Discontinued now I believe, but do crop up secondhand from time to time
  12. If you can't find a Timmy, try the danelectro transparent overdrive v1- allegedly a Timmy clone. Whether you try a v1 or v2, both are pretty good for bass
  13. The micro pog sounds very digital to me. Where the oc2 sounds more 'old school' to me. It feels a little like comparing apples and oranges.
  14. Ha ha. Famous last words!!! We've all said that before!- some of us more than others!!

  16. Is it just me or are there two different girls pictured? One in the woods, and a differing one in the bedroom?
  17. There was no difference for me active to passive with the fog
  18. I have one- I use it for 'time is running out'. The squeeze control is the key there. I quite enjoy it, but tbh I only really use a bfd for the limited times I use fuzz
  19. I played the Harris sig a while ago. Initially I wanted to play one as he is pretty much my prime inspiration musically, but very quickly discovered that it is quite simply THE best precision I have ever played (and I have played very many over the years, both new and vintage) If I could free the cash up, I'd have one in a heartbeat!
  20. There's always good crowd in the pub (daws), but not always downstairs unfortunately. The middle ei8ht is a great gig. Good crowd, although not the biggest of stages- our guitarist ended up with his gear on the floor when we played there earlier in the year.
