  1. Bad news steel dragon from rockstar the rutles mother of the bride from the series wedding band
  2. Is it it worth putting it into a tb loop? I have similar issues with my old dod stereo bass flanger. I totally love the tone, and am not keen to search out another pedal that sounds as good to me. The true bypass box is going to be much cheaper than a new pedal😉 especially if you like the tone 🤘👍
  3. I’ve been using one for close to 15 years. I first bought it secondhand to use as a Di for am amp less rig, and is still going strong ( although I have replaced one of the footswitches) it did the job admirably. The eq I found to be very musical, and the distortion when used carefully sounded great using the blend. I very much prefer to use it over the other pres that I own.
  4. I assume they’ve been cut? if so, for what variety of bass pls 😉
  5. I had a nervous breakdown around 2003, and my wife suggested I didn’t go back and made teaching and performing the ‘job’ still doing it today. I teach in 5 schools, with a healthy number of private students, and I play in 3 bands- 1 original recording band, a tribute, and a covers band. as well as doing dep work where needed
  6. Whitesnake maiden sabbath
  7. To take epic from another direction Rime of the ancient mariner. Iron Maiden
  8. How’s the vintage octave working for you? any chance of a mini review? 😉
  9. Black sabbath changed my life. if those three notes hadn’t happened, heavy metal would not have been born. I probably wouldn’t have been drawn away from the cello to play bass. thank you Tony, Geezer, Bill and Ozzy
  10. I’ll answer the same as I did when I saw this question on fb. if it’s a covers band- it gets arranged to suit the band/ audience, whereas if it’s a tribute act it should be spot on.
  11. Me too. Was a little older than 14 though 😉😂
  12. I turned up to a show with all of my bass gear, lights and P.A. only to discover when setting up that I had left the mixer at home - an hour and a half’s drive away. 😳 fortunately a helpful member of the audience lived nearby and offered the use of theirs phew!! another time I did the load out and idiot check, drive an hour home and unloaded to find that I had left two basses at the venue. fortunately as it was a biker ‘do’ they helped me out and I had to collect them the following day
  13. Hi. I’m looking to downsize my board so I can do fly date festivals in Europe with a minimal rig. Head wise I carry my Tc bh250 but the TonePrint I use is an od my problem is that the only flanger I’ve ever liked has been the old dod fx72 bass stereo flanger. is there a mooer- sized option that will get me into the same ballpark? 🤘🤘
  14. Nice one. cheers. I thought it might have been but I wasn’t about to go on yet another bass related goose chase 😂
  15. Who makes the gig bag dude?
  16. Wow. beautiful! on the watch list ! 😉👍
  17. I find the mojo mojo to be muddy sounding and lacking definition. my od of choice atm is the Caline orange burst. can do light grit and does well up to a nice a angry drive. Only costs less than £25 new as well 😉
  18. I get the idea of this series. nice plan. Small form factor leading to an analog multifx board. I shall keep an eye on these 😉
  19. Two things- what in earth was that? It’s 9 mins I’ll never get back. what has zender been smoking?
  20. Just no words
