  1. Nice one! Some great parts and beautiful instruments. subbed 🤘🤘
  2. Looks like a wooden loo
  3. I disagree. The mix is done in a way that enhances The whole but in no way dominates with bass.
  4. This video is epic. so much better than the “and justice for Jason” version out there- all artificially enhanced low end and rare moments of actual bass
  5. I have a guy in north Kent/ south east London that deals with my stuff - basses and pedals. if that’s of interest, drop me a pm and I’ll forward his number 😉👍
  6. Congrats. how about a baby tuner?
  7. I have a variety of albums that I use Queen a kind of magic iron maiden number of the beast Dark side of the moon mark ronson version
  8. This is fun and not entirely serious. the op however..... 🤮
  9. I cannot abide him as a player. as an educator however, is a totally different thing. His approach to learning is fantastic. I repeatedly read the music lesson- amazing book.
  10. Admittedly I’m a root man through and through, but I’ve tried many many types of strings. the warwicks are ok, but I find they die very quickly. the Dunlop’s are good, and I would place them second after my rotos. they play well and don’t have the significant ‘grab’ that rotos do. That would seem to be a definite plus for you.
  11. It runs to more than a couple of drinks extra. the trial that happened this week held 200 ina venue usually containing 1200 the revenue from this did not even cover the costs of opening the venue up, let alone paying the artiste. Most venues do not make massive profits despite what many think 😉 would you be prepared to pay £50 for a normal £10 show? I think not
  12. Thank you mate. I have a fair few friends and associates on the other side of the curtain as well. the whole industry has been thrown to the wall. are you eligible for anything through any other support networks? Isn’t there a ‘support staff’ thing called crew nation? How does that work?
  13. My tax returns are up to date and filed- as they have been for the past 15 years. I have received one payment from the government and am due another. To cover the period between end of March and the end of August. I get a maximum of 2500 from the first, and 60% of that from the second. my work is unlikely to begin properly this side of Christmas. I can eek out enough to cover bills etc by teaching remotely, but like so many in this industry (crews, techs, as well as musicians) and indeed on this forum, things are incredibly tight. for an industry that people fall back on when times are tough- it’s only this album or this band that got me through - we are being forgotten, despite contributing a significant portion of the nations income \rant. Sorry 😉
  14. No- as it’s my job
  15. my eyesight is not good enough with a ruler unfortunately. it’s a metric screw, as it has come from a Korean built bc rich. thanks so much for the help thus far. ive tried northwest guitars, ch and black dog, but can only find screws compatible for vintage instruments- ie imperial. I’m ideally looking for black ones as well 😉🤘 cheers
  16. I’ll sort some tomorrow 😉👍
  17. Hi. im trying to restore an old bass, which has unfortunately got rusted intonation screws on two of the saddles. Ive managed to remove them from the bridge, but Ultimately I need to replace them. ive been searching around online, and on the phone to the local music shop, but no joy does anyone have a reliable source without ordering from eBay/ China. Cheers
  18. I have a few Joyo about the place. I’m particularly fond of the orange juice as noted in the other thread. they’re great pedals, generally, at a good price point.
  19. It’s not ‘him’ is it?
  20. I really like mine too. It gives me a nice grit to my tone. Ive been using it With my Ozzy/ sabbath tribute as an always on ‘livener’. mmmmm 😂😂
  21. No!! tim smith and Peter green in one week! both will be in excellent company - genii together. thank you for the music. 😢
  22. Rest well Tim. was fortunate to spend a good deal of time with the band around the heaven born album time. My favourite memory being invite to eat with the band at a show in at helens, than talking gear with him, Jim ( who is him?) and Jon Poole A truly inspirational musician and human being.
