  1. Have you considered contacting Neil moser directly? He is in Facebook and seems to be keen to help those working on bcrs. Alternatively, there is also a group on fb named 'bc rich junkies' they are a very friendly bunch and also happy to help
  2. Definitely would like to hear this with a p bass. For £40 it's gonna worth a try and an a/b comparison with my ts9b
  3. Perhaps this might be worth a try? http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/GMiniBone
  4. Have you tried the metalman gig bag ? They're pricey, but it's the only gig bag that will take both my ml and razorback. Alternatively, perhaps something recommended for the larger bc rich shapes might work? Mockingbird, ironbird etc......
  5. I love my cm2 with my basses. I only use passive p style pups these days. Sounds perfect and always sits 'just right'
  6. I've already got mine heading to my dealer
  7. Surgical steel - carcass At war with reality- at the gates Black gives way to blue- Alice in chains Stryper- reborn Black sabbath- 13
  8. Shame they don't have lira anymore. I'd think about offering a couple of million of those
  9. There is a recording of Metallica playing harvester of sorrows from the early nineties where they totally missed a whole section. It was released on a b side to one of the singles. I saw Judas Priest in 2011 and when they were about to begin the ripper iirc, glens guitar was way out of tune. He stopped the song, waggled his finger a this tech, retuned, and started again. I've seen barney from napalm death end up either knocked out or on his backside a couple of times, also Seb Bach from skid row at donongton 92 went over on a wet stage. They'll got up and carried on as soon as they were able
  10. The trouble with the p45 is the loss of volume. Mine gives a definite volume drop once engaged. My evh p90 doesn't lose any low, but won't do the edgy bit
  11. Jamiroquai. I know they haven't released anything for a while, but you can pretty much regard all of their material as one album spread over the years. And it's pretty consistent, despite the bass player changes. Iron maiden. I totally love these guys and always will. You know more or less what you're going to get with every album. It's always Goni g to be the same, as there is one primary songwriter/ arranger/ producer. If it ain't broke.......
  12. I've had good results using: Bass soul food Ibanez bass tube screamer Hardwire cm2
  13. Does anyone know of a (preferably) UK supplier where I can source 1.14 tortex picks screen printed with mt design? I have been using picks from in tune gp from the states, but I'm starting to run low and would like to 'replenish' Cheers
  14. I can do pup replacements, set ups, electronics, jack sockets/ pots etc, and most repairs. I won't do anything involving routing and what I term major cosmetics I'm based in North Kent, about 20 mins from m25/ bluewater
  15. Looks to be fairly well thought out. I like the idea of the moveable boost. Not so keen on the filter though
  16. Can I clarify that this has nowt to do with me
  17. I have an mxr black label chorus on my board. It's a reworking of the older analog boss ce5, and exactly the same pedal as the mxr analog chorus
  18. I think, broadly speaking, that price is largely irrelevant. If a pedal produces the sound I'm looking for, that is the end of the search for me. Heaven knows I've spend a vast amount of money chasing my drive tones, trying boutique this and boutique that, only to find the sounds that I was searching for ( and sat well in the mix!) via ehx and mxr ( bass soul food, glove, and bass fuzz deluxe. ) for my main band, and bass soul food and bass tube screamer/ cm2 for the others. I still have my darkglass pedals here, but ATM I'm not using them. Shame really, as they are superb pedals, but just didn't give me the exact sound I was after.
  19. The ehx definitely sounds way better than the jhs to my ears. The jhs has a definite fuzz flavour, where the ehx has more of an old school drive vibe going on.
  20. Rotosounds are made in Kent. There will be loads of dealers able to send within the UK.
  21. Maybe we should plug the guitars in and play them?
  22. 20+. I play regularly in several bands along with deps and two sometime/ad hoc bands. They all get used at some point or other
