1. I'll have to check it out. I play bass like Les Dawson, so,I'm in no position to criticise really .
2. Longer delay bump. I may reluctantly put this on eBay ,as I could get more for it there apparently
3. There seem to be quite a few Flying V ones around these days. Those ones I don't like . I'm blaming bill wyman. He has probably snapped up all the good ones
4. Bass direct have the xm2 ( full bodied bass) with TransTrem . They're asking for £1600. I have the version without the trans trem. Plus my one has the rare p/ j pickup version . I think it's a tad overpriced, but if I had the cash I would have to bite the bullet. Some say the trans trem system was very problematic . But I do like the idea of it being able to change your bass to bead just by locking the bar. Plus, it has a whammy bar . Good for metal.,
5.
im not to sure the op likes metal i think the may prefer brandon flowers
6.
I have fivers...but they're with me for the time being. Cheers! The degree to which one could retrofit will depend on which Steinberger bass you're talking about. The hole pattern on these necks seems to fit those on the Steinberger XQ basses but not the earlier Newburgh or other MusicYo instruments. No replacement headless graphite necks will fit Spirit instruments. These necks don't share the drill hole patterns of Newburgh or other MusicYo instruments so the current holes will need inserts drilling out and plugged. New holes will need drilling and you can either tap your own inserts or purchase them through Bernd at Headless Europe.
Thanks for that . My steiney has 5 holes also. Unfortunately mine is an Xm and not xq, so will not fit . Glwts tho'
7. One of the better precisions to look at . Have a bump
8. How much for the cat ?
9. it was for the boss. Btw ; sorry to the op about the amount of threads . Still have a bump;)
10. Keep it . Then make it very pointy, so it's good for metal
11.
Do you schwiiiiiiiiiiiiiing, then?
Low, sweet chariot ??
12. I think you have killed apt of interest with Ravi Shankar . So f@@ing tedious . (Really sorry , but my ex boss used to play a few cassettes by him.bing bing bing..) I'm still traumatised. Now if you said Michael Schenker..better;?
13. Unfortunately , Mr. Vicious is elsewhere and unavailable . I do know a Mr. Phil sick ( he changed his name by deed poll). He used to be in a band called parents of God . I've just remembered , he's the vocalist . Sorry ,)
14.
Let it go, bro. Let it go.
Please ..not that song
15. Couldve been been worse. You could've got a dodgy bass. Smile and move on
16. Glad you sold it shame it was not to me;( someone's gonna be very happy
17. Gotta be honest . I find them more of a novelty. I sold the one I had , a few weeks ago. I had tuning issues. Also I believe they're only good for single / root notes rather than busy lines. If you pay too dollar for one , the results may be much better. They would be good in a band with 1 guitarist . Having said all that, if I had cash and saw a good quality headless one I would buy it .
18.
Ha ha! Exactly!
First thing that struck me about the vocals, was 'system of a down??' Then I think , yeah.. nickleback of metal:) Not a bad track tho'
19. I have 2delay units , in my Boss Micro rack setup. I prefer the pitch shifter /delay, so this has to go. Rare and discontinued. £40.00 POSTED. NEXT DAY DELIVERY. No power supply, or instructions . It takes a standard 9v. It's the middle unit. Cheers
20.
The Lounge Kittens - definitely worth a watch. I'd also certainly watch Clutch, Corrosion Of Conformity, Muse, Faith No More, Carcass, Testament and Suicidal Tendencies. Edited for pointless negativity
Testament were great in the '80s . Far better than megadeath IMHO .havent seen em for years tho.' Fnm, at Hyde park were much better than expected. If the winery dogs are playing ..do not miss. Same with symphony x
21. Well, I've just paid Austin123 £50 for his single ditto looper. Looking forward to using it ,when it arrives.
22. Well, I just sent a pm to a fellow basschatter(£50 for single ditto). I'll keep you in the loop
