  1. Thanks a lot for doing this @neepheid! Really good of you ! 👍 I have 2 people on the case ,and should hear something over the weekend .I’ll pm you if I want to take you up on your kind offer ! I’ll update here if I do find solution also . Top Man 👍
  2. Sorry to be a bit wet behind the ears , but I’m not sure of the actual size of that screw. 🤦‍♂️ Glued to music are a legitimate organisation who have been very helpful.. However they are unsure if they have the size needed. They sent a link for 15mm which may be too big ..
  3. I found the size I need ! Should be easy enough to track down ..
  4. I did receive an email from Neil Co owner of the company I mentioned . He noticed I didn’t checkout , so I am now in conversation with him via email to see if I can get the replacement needed!
  5. Thanks for that ! Bass is 30 years old 🙀,and I now feel very old ..
  6. I found a website via ai/ Google ( yes I know ) called Glued to music . I registered with them , and assumed I could pay via PayPal , but for some reason PayPal was unavailable at this time . Apple Pay was the other option but I decided not to proceed ! Site may not be legit as I haven’t received confirmation email . I’d rather not get soaked in this weather and it’s a bus ride to the nearest hardware shop . There is Amazon but they have too many options ..
  7. While playing my vester fretless bass , one of the tuning pegs fell out . I pushed it back in , but notice that it has a black screw that has gone missing. Any idea where to get the right sized replacement ?? Or am I screwed , and have to purchase a replacement gotoh tuning peg? 😬
  8. These were a big deal in the unplugged era of the ‘90s . Bargain ! Glwts
  9. This is the real deal . An original full bodied steinberger . Won’t be here long ..
  10. I’ve always wanted one of these! Unfortunately having a grandmother and minitaur , means that I’ll have to pass . Have a bump anyway ! GLWTS
  11. Schecter do have some great basses imho . It’s true about resale value though . Dont know why . Looking at that picture , I wouldn’t have recognised Rick Savage . Perm gone . Looks great though.
  12. Cop shoot cop ! Great live band in the ‘90s .
  13. It’s a Facebook link ,so I won’t be reeled in . No order from me .
  14. It seems that to do what I want to do ,I’d need a DI box . I’m just wondering if my zoom B3 is a DI box of sorts 🤔 There always a sandamp ,but that may be expensive overkill ..
  15. Well …I don’t need this at all ! I will be getting this later on in the year ! How could I not?!?
  16. I would like to boost the signal from Bass Guitar ,so that I can plug it in to the input of My Moog Grandmother or Moog Minitaur. Apparently I need something to boost the bass guitar signal so that it can actually be heard in the mix ! Apparently sonuus might be the solution! It is said a preamp would be sufficient to boost the signal from my bass guitar ! I do have a Zoom B3 , but not sure if that is a powerful enough signal boost ! Fwiw I do know how to control the synths in question to accept the signal from my bass guitar.. This is done by turning the oscillators all the way down ,and messing around with the rest of the knobs etc . With the moog Grandmother I also have to have it on the Drone setting for it to work . As for the Minitaur,a key from the midi keyboard has to be permanently pushed down/ engaged . A lot of faffing around .. I do have cheap mini distortion and overdrive pedals but doubt they’d be powerful enough to boost signal . The problem is the bass signal is too low in the inputs of the synths ! Please could someone recommend something to do the job . Thanks in advance 🙂
  17. Annoying! I have a maschine mini purchased ages ago . Also launchpad app with packs that I paid for . Wondering if the apps will be eventually deleted . Will Inmusic buy them ??
  18. I almost forgot about this thread .. Fwiw about 20 years ago I purchased a Schecter stiletto elite 5 . Never played a 5’er before and bought it on impulse in Sound Control. It was a great bass , but seeing as I was gigging at the time on 4 strings I stupidly sold it a few years later ! That bass and Schecter in particular seem to have a good reputation, and you’d probably get one either new or used for the price you want. I prefer headless though and if I was going to try a 5’er again I’d probably go for the cort space 5 for the price .
  19. Have you condemned both parties on all social media outlets ( Trustpilot, farcebook, X etc ) ?? If not I’d do that asap !
  20. There is a modest , underrated and highly talented bass maestro who is revered and lauded on Basschat ..Danny Sapko. Worth checking out . Davie 504 is better entertainment though imho ..” check mate ! “ Lots of headless basses with varying designs and quality control issues ( cort space 5 , Ibanez EHB etc )
  21. Mmmm…Headed or Headless ? ‘All right now ‘ or ‘Reign in blood ?’ Slap , pick , fingers or all ?🤔🙂
  22. If I were a 5 stringer this would be the bass I’d go for . Groovy !
  23. I have it somewhere. Can’t remember if it’s blu ray or not . Could it be a regional issue ??
  24. I like that ..but not in sunburst ! If it were about £800 max and in yellow , orange or green I’d have to track one down . I remember roughly around 15-20 years ago this design and the cheese bass / guitars were mentioned in a bass guitar magazine . Inflation and rarity has pushed the price up somewhat .
